I think the most important thing is Parkinson`s removal, but I wouldn`t be surprised if they wait until the end of the season. As long as it happens I`m prepared to wait, if only to look back at all the negative records he will have broken. Be fun to debate his time at BWFC with the Happy Clappers. Now I don`t expect any of my wishes to be granted by the new owners, but I would like to see the old club badge with the Elephant returning. There`s been a couple over the years, but I like the dark blue badge with BW and a rose in the middle and the elephant on the top, used on many items in the club shop , its an ideal replacement. Very smart. Apart from Fulham, we have the worst badge in the League. I would like the ground renamed Burnden Stadium. Bruce Rioch installed as director of football and the pitch lengthened to its maximum, as this will tell us that the management plan on playing football. Condensed pitches are for hoofball. I`d be happy with some of the above.

I'm not sure about that grud. Most seem to think it's Anderson and his last minute shenanigans but I'm not sure. I think he genuinely intended this to go through and resolve all the problems and costs stacking up on him. I don't know his actual wealth but he's going to need around Ā£10m over the next month by my calculations and I just don't think he has that amount of liquidity. There's obviously the Ā£5m to EDs estate plus around the same to HMRC, Bolton Council, Police, Heathcotes and then next/this months wages. That doesn't even take into account the unpaid bonuses outstanding, or the loans to Warby and Car Park loans which could be recalled. All these things have steadily stacked up and FV must know that.
I have a suspicion that FV therefore, may have planned to string Ken along, get him to pay the wages, fully believing the deal was done, then pull the rug at the last minute and leave him in an impossible position. Hung by his own petard and outthought by cleverer operators. If he can't pay it will result in Administration and if there are known buyers in the wings a Pre-Pack Administration can be arranged to just transfer the whole from Ken to FV for a market value price. That would probably be far less than the figure Ken was asking. Of course it could just be they decided to walk away, though I doubt that, or Ken did try another trick which annoyed them. Either way with time pressing and bills to pay I expect a swift resolution one way or the other.

I know one thing 63 we're stuck with Parky until at least the end of the season as Anderson has already said that Parky is the manager for him. So unless some miracle happened before Saturday 30th March when we play Q.P.R. I for one won't be making a dramatic return to the ReMac until next season. COYWM

Will we have a club after the ātake overā?
I realise that Basran is playing Ken Andersonās game of brinksmanship but we are so close to March 20th and HMRC winding up petition.
There is talk of administration or even, terrifyingly, liquidation.
We are so close to the winding up petition court appearance that I donāt think an official take over can now take place in time even if agreements are struck. So, even if some agreement is made, we have to go to court and beg the judge and HMRC to save us.
I wrote a while back that I thought that Anderson had covered his back as a secured creditor if administration happens. I just donāt trust him.
I just hope I am a pessimist and that things will be sorted next week.
On the subject of what I want to see after the take over, I agree mostly with Woppy.
- We must get rid of the manager.
- We must develop a style of play which, preferably with wins, is good to watch and gets the supporters on side.
- Yes, replace the badge ā ours is awful.
Most importantly, survive next week.

Not sure what's going to happen with the T/O but let's say it don't happen here are some of my thoughts. Firstly for us to see out the season without administration Anderson needs Ā£15 million for all things to do with running the club, Second put Parky on leave put the U23 Management team in charge see if we can get enough points maybe to stay up. Third at the end of the season then try to sell the club again and finally get rid of the dead wood including the manager and team except the odd one or two and start with a clean slate. Long speech I know but it sounds better in my head hahahaha COYWM

All very quiet on the winding up situation tomorrow and with the deal to buy once again off the table it's looking increasingly like Administration. I suspect the FGR charge is what convinced Basran to withdraw, how many other potential skeletons are in Kens cupboard waiting to jump out. Personally, I'll just be glad if we still have a club to support tomorrow night. Anyone know what time our case is scheduled to be heard?

Yeah think the FGR charge has thrown a spanner in the works but Dave Vince has levelled that critisism at Ken and not the club. So admittesly no idea but if its Kens signiture could they target him personally as oppose to club? Think it would be more satisfying for Dale.
New owners could even smooth things over with a commom sense plea for a little time and maybe look for a compromise.
Im pretty sure with the due dilligence that it would be a little rash for a judge not to grant a little extra time. Im sure Ken has people he knows who can draft a letter to declare interest. As a favour but nothing else.
Then again what does Ken want to do. Certainly not pay loans, Tax, wages or debt.
I just think the simple equations of money owed + what Ken would get as creditor = more than anyone is willing to pay. Ken wont take a hit so if they cannot renegotiate the debt, seems like they tried with car park man named on board.
All too much for me to understand, but like Brexit i suspect this will rumble on for a few more weeks or months even after a set deadline

It may rumble on OM but I also think it has to be resolved one way or another today, whichever way it goes. I'm still hopeful that the tax bill at least will be paid and time given for a takeover to be agreed without resorting to Administration. The problem is, it's not just the tax bill, it's also all the other items in dispute, including the FGR situation which has now reared its head. I suppose the problem is that like with the hotel yesterday, if creditors think we're going bust they'll all want to recover their pound of flesh. Still with so many (hopefully) intelligent people involved, one would expect to see an acceptable resolution for everyone to result. Let's hope it's common sense and not testosterone?

Could have been worse. Dont see what ken would achieve by delaying it with no hope of a sale.
Didnt the group has an agreement in principle. Therefore Ken couldnt really have moved the goal post as has been said. Surely the AIP is something in writing and if thats broken its from the terms being different rather than demands.
Ideally wanted a clearer vision of what our future looks like. Its still murky as ever. Simon Jordans comments from iles Blog (from TalkSport)are fantastic and ive been hugely impressed with him as a pundit. If he ever ventured back into club ownership id wecome him here.
