As I said I would much prefer Chris Hughton to Neil Lennon. Lennon has no experience of managing anywhere except Celtic and I think most managers could do a reasonable job at Celtic. I love it in his wiki page it says in his playing career he represented Man City etc etc He played once for their first team during 3 years there (admittedly he was a trainee).
I just think we need someone who has a wider breadth of experience of management, and in particular the Championship, so it's Hughton for me by a mile.

so you just resort to childish insults. bore off you loser !! ... it's always the same... claiming childish insults from one poster and then resort to them yourself... you couldn't make it up... ... just for your info, I set myself up for the ban the first time, as I was bored with the pessimism on here... what are ya going to do when we hire a new manager... run him down too, if he struggles and "hope your wrong"... ... I'll say it again... you are a twit... especially when you hold on to your pseudonym of one of the most hated managers in football...

the thing is i don't start the insults, you and your type do. if ppl don't respond you think you're winning by having the last word. if they do respond, you think you've won again by winding them up. i respond when i want to. sometimes i will, others i'll let prats just hang themselves with their own stupid childish posts.
i'm the one being positive about the list ( most of them anyway). you contradict yourself so many times it's unreal. wants Di Canio, but doesn't want a ranter and raver. do we see any eloquent justifications of your view..this is a forum...you're meant to do that sort of thing you know. no..any kind of post that lasts more than a line or 2 and you're lost...no wonder you liked BTID so much....dumbing down to your level with a smiley and the odd word, and like you backing duffers like Doug-loss. i post a tactical post on the england thread. it's way above your level but you won't admit it..but of course ppl like me know nowt about football . haha.
you've not a clue what's going on with the hiring of the new manager... if you had, you'd post it. i'm getting proved right on a daily basis . you're behind the curve as usual..slow to pick up on Dougie being a dud too.

Don't bother with them Meggo you can't ever win because as they say "you can't educate pork." I tried everything with BTID to get him to actually explain what it was about Freedman that he rated. Just one good point, just the one, but all he could do was bluster, insult and as you say post smileys. This was a guy who told us how wonderfully successful in business he was and how liked he was despite being arrogant which he considered a plus. Thankfully he's done a runner now he's been proved to be wrong but he'll be back with a new Monica before long because people like that just have to. Sad really but still there are thankfully more good uns on here than idiots who can actually debate and make points they feel relative without resorting to insults and profanities.

.. unfortunately I had a decent post to send to meggers, but shockwave crashed and reloaded the page.. it disappeared...
... whites, I wouldn't criticise BTID too much, you/we don't know his personal life... after all one could say the same about you being forever the pessimist (and your a manager?), but let's leave that...
... I'll get back to ya meggers, on the England tactics but have a deadline to meet... work always get in the way...

Either SkyBet know something or they've had some bad info because you can still get better than Evens (bet365) and just short of that at most other companies.
Jimmy Phillips is a massive 33/1 now(with skybet)! That's got to be worth a £1. I thought they might be trying to sort something out with him at one point.
Same price as Malky difference is most bookies have him at that price. Its not going to be him from the looks of it.
Think we could have a head to head with Lennon and Hughton and personally I can't see how Lennon can win. I'm pretty much crossing a line through his Celtic days as most people have said winning that league means nothing. Yes, Champs League I'll give him credit for but that's cup competitions, one offs with nothing to lose. The crowd won half the battle.
I suppose he's got to start somewhere though. I won't write him of at all but like I said before if he is in talks with this Arabic club then we shouldn't contemplate a move.
Hughton for me.

Celtic star Mulgrew gives glowing praise to Lennon : "Mulgrew said: “I thought he’d have been offered something in the Premier League, although there haven’t been many jobs there recently. But I’m surprised Neil hasn’t had something quicker. He’s a top, top manager and really has the credentials to be boss at that level. His motivational skills, his tactics and the way he manages players is second to none.” www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-fans-should-give-ronny-4412941

i might be going a bit early on this Lennon stuff but never mind..here goes anyway : www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthread.php?t=126449a look at Lennons signings at celtic. in the thread the guy highlights the good and bad ones. "Efraín Juárez - £3,500,000 Gary Hooper - £2,400,000 Mohamed Bangura - £2,200,000 Fraser Forster - £2,000,000 Daryl Murphy - £1,400,000 Beram Kayal - £1,200,000 Anthony Stokes - £1,200,000 Victor Wanyama - £900,000 Emilio Izaguirre - £600,000 Kris Commons - £300,000 Tony Watt - £100,000 Freddie Ljungberg - Free Nicky Feely - Free Olivier Kapo - Free Daniel Majstorović - Free Charlie Mulgrew - Free Cha Du-Ri - Free Joe Ledley - Free Andre Blackman - Free Mikael Lustig - Free Rabiu Ibrahim - Free Kelvin Wilson - Free Adam Matthews - Free Dylan McGeouch - Free There has been a lot of success from this group and considering he has only spent £15.2 million in transfer fees. " one of the comments below said this >> " That's a current profit of about £11m during Lennon's tenure and if you consider the value of the add-ons it will probably end up being £13m profit. Considering the team he took over and what he's built I'd say that's a pretty amazing job." this article is from 2012. so doesn't include sales of Wanyama for about 10 mill, & what did Fraser Forster go for..approx 8 mill too ?!?
