I do hope Bolton Wanderers are not one of the 10 EFL clubs struggling to meet the payroll by the end of this month Don’t think we can go through another of these nightmares again so let’s hope FV have it in the bag With the 8000 season tickets sold and the regular income from ifollow that should amount to £3m in the coffers, I would certainly hope they have reserves to cover any shortfalls😬😬😬

www.bwfc.co.uk/ifollow/subscribe/possibly stupid question here.. but here goes.. Is this match is being shown on Ifollow? it's only got audio match pass available to buy for £2.50. but this might only apply to non ST holders. ?? I was looking into this £15 quid fee that PL were talking about doing. can't understand how they moan about £15 to see PL but we pay £10 for this level. but then again..not sure if they're paying for season tickets & getting nowt !? one link I read said EFL had agreed a deal with SKY to show games on Ifollow that were'nt being televised. clearly this one is..but not sure if they are talking about non season ticket holders as surely if you've paid your ST, you can watch it. Can understand that Ifollow may not be able to show a live Sky game. Understand that anyone with the option would go with the sky product. Guess ST holders may be on a loser here. Through NowTV everyone that could get Ifollow can watch the match but for a cost on top of your season ticket price.

I have little doubt that Crellin will be in goal playing alongside White, Baptiste and Gordon. 4 keepers? Might work.

No live stream for me either and no possibility to watch on Sky ( only PL and Champ games) . As I find the Bolton FM commentary dire it’s a weekend off - maybe I should be relieved!

bit of team news. not good considering i've just put a few pennies on us Double chance...Bolton or Draw. I'll go 1-1 on here.
not too happy if Sarce doesn't make it, after being needlessly risked in the FA CUP. not just starting vs Crewe but playing the full 90 !?
didn't really expect Jones to play. maybe hoped for Doyle on bench. still might be a chance of that. I'm 70% certain we will finally take Crellin out of the firing line. can't see him picking Alexander, so I guess it'll be Gilks then. good talk this morn from Santos about mixing the game up & not being so obsessed with being pretty, pretty. get wins..get confident..then it's much easier to tweak up your style. just look how almost any team 5-0 up will play a bit of Olé football, passing it around effortlessly.
It's not as if we haven't mixed it up. we did it at Cambridge and Harrogate. 2 tougher games on paper.

Well I disagree with you rtf on Crellin, I’m 90% certain he will play him. Shame about the 3 mentioned but let’s wait and see tomorrow night, we might be surprised? Either way we could still win if the likes of Crawford, Darcy and Fonz click and we don’t do anything silly at the back. Salford will be well up for it so we will need to be on point for the whole game to win. Sadly as Crellin is probably playing I expect mistakes so I think Salford will win 1-2 and more sack cloth and ashes for IE.

I also think he will play Crellin. I'm a bit surprised we havent seen Hickman in Jones absense. He was ostracised for the game as Grimbsby i think it was but I cant recall any other wing back(hybrid) getting up and looking for early balls in the box.
I just have a bad feeling tomorrow will be down to who wants it more and not too many times we have been shaded that. Think we need far far more aggression and intensity. Salford will bring that. Personally think thats been our problem all season. We've come to spar they've come to fight.

This season, I have been the eternal optimist in games. That is because the standard of opposition in this league is quite poor so I have (had) expectations that we should win most matches.
Tonight is the first time that I am concerned about a match.
Our play just hasn’t improved, the manager has a stubborn streak in him that is costing us and Salford will have the “new manager” effect – something that we never got.
As for the team – well I think he will stick with Crellin. I wish I could get into the manager’s mind and work out his thinking on the goalkeeper position. This is a young, very inexperienced keeper who by any measurement has cost us at least 5 or 6 points this season. The lad has no history of keeping behind him so why oh why is he our preferred choice? The rest of the defence must have jitters whenever the ball goes into the box.
I can see the defence being the same although Gordon has yet to convince me at left wing back. Where is this speed that he has supposedly got?
In midfield, I do not want to see either White or Comlyn so Tutte must play. It sounds like Sarcevic is doubtful. If he had a bad back last week, why play him against Crewe?
Upfront, Doyle still out so Delfouneso plus one other (Isgrove?)
As I say, this is the first match that I am worried about. I will make 2 predictions – if Crellin plays then 0-2. If Gilks (or any other keeper plays) then 1-1

So many questions about tonight and it could be either a turning point or consolidation of our demise. Like you David, I’ve been eternally optimistic up to now due to the poor quality of the opposition but I’m now becoming resigned to the fact that we just don’t have the strength in depth in key positions to do anything other than continue to struggle. The keeper situation speaks for itself and it really does confuse me why a seasoned professional like IE can be so totally blind to the fact that Crellin is a major weak link. There’s being loyal and being stubborn and it’s becoming increasingly obvious that with Evatt it’s the latter. Surely tonight must be last chance saloon for the kid? Gordon too has to be a major question mark. He has the pace and races dow the wing but there is absolutely no end product. No skill or trickery to beat a defender, crosses poorly and infrequently and is so one footed it’s embarrassing. Any defender who’s seen him will deal with him easily. Same goes for White and Comley, absolutely no impact on games at all, weak in tackles and poor distribution, Comley in particular just slows the game down. It would be too much to hope that none of them will see action tonight but if they do then let’s hope for once they prove me wrong and actually contribute. Still think we’ll lose 1-2.

I’m hoping for changes tonight but reading Ian today I don’t think we will see changes in the goalkeeper because Crellin has responded well in training my God how many games have we won on the training ground Ian will not listen or see the mistakes Crellin is making. I have now tv for the golf so I’m watching the game tonight fingers crossed 2-0 and Crellin play’s as well as he does in training stay safe one and all COYWM

still optimistic for the change. won't be a happy bunny if he does pick BC. I think todays Bn article with Evatt saying postive quotes about BC was basically his way of letting Crellin down gently. you're not dropped, it's a 50/50 and you've just not quite made it .
good to see someone at the presser finally ask if there was any contractual reason in the loan agreement with Fleetwood , why BC kept playing. & the answer came back no.
