Will the game go ahead? I suppose we'll know a little more after 1pm tomorrow.
Security concerns, Catering concerns and Wage concerns, HMRC's...
I'm not sure if the EFL would allow the game to be played behind closed doors, but I fear for the club if the game doesn't go ahead. Then there's the day in court.
Not sure if the players are out of contract if wages aren't paid by Friday.
Have I missed anything?

Apparently, there's a new consortium led by Peter Kenyon (ex Man Utd & Chelsea) on the horizon.
All we need them to do is to pay Ken Anderson, pay the Wages, pay HMRC - all before 1pm tomorrow.
NO PROBLEM!
As you can see, I have eventually cracked up due to this farce!

This is all getting very exciting so let's just hope the Peter Kenyon thing is a goer and not more disappointment. At least Kenyon is a genuine football man and has a good standing in the game and is not some asset stripper or con man like Anderson. I think as long as enough can be done to ensure the Millwall game goes ahead, any of the other issues can be resolved later but clearly ensuring that is no small thing. It does appear Anderson has done a runner but as long as someone is there to sign off a deal let's hope it does get done. I know there's been a lot of criticism of ED selling to Anderson but I bet he's turning in his grave at what's going on now.

Peter Kenyon consortium was recently linked with buying Newcastle United.
BWFC Smoke? Mirrors?

Peter Kenyon consortium was recently linked with buying Newcastle United. BWFC Smoke? Mirrors? My thoughts exactly. With one trying to buy a club and one wanting to sell it would suit both Anderson and Kenyon if this link was manufactured. Remember the Texan Tycoon? Never even heard of Bolton and was linked with a bid - friend of Edwin.

What a cock up this is all turning out to be. I still believe the Parminder Basram consortium will end up buying the club, despite Marc Iles indicating they "stepped away" I still think they are the most likely so let's hope whatever the snags were they can be resolved. As for the others reported, it's hard to see how they can know enough to conclude a deal. Whatever happens it needs to be done quickly because if we don't agree something by 1pm it could be very different. Not long to wait now.

I was told last night that BWFC had given the relevant groups an undertaking that the security would be up to standard ,so it looks like the match is on .

Source Oswald?
I imagine that unless money owed to the stewards etc., then it could be a last minute thing.
The control is in their hands. The way I see it.

Surely the fine and implications of abandonment would outweigh ken outsourcing a G4S type of one off event stewards? Police might be a different matter.

Well let's hope whatever the result rftr that it's Parky's last game. You never know, with all the payers paid and Parky trying to impress new (hopefully) owners, he might suddenly adopt a more positive team and attitude. If we are to have any chance at all of escaping relegation then three points are a must this weekend and with a run of winnable games now in front of us, who knows what can still happen? Certainly the new owners will want to do everything possible to keep us up so with a new sense of hope around the club and maybe even a signing or two you never know what can happen.

Being the 9th March the game will take place on the day which commemorates the disaster of 1946. Hope this doesn't pass by unnoticed.

Without Parkinson on the line, we might stand a chance of getting something from the game.
