I have to disagree with you Kraken. I think a change in manager with this lot is what we need. Not just anyone, but someone with a bit of tactical nous. A kick up the backside you might say. It may help with the shots on target!
Despite what whites says, today we played some good football in the first half. It wasn't the same old negative stuff, as has been posted by a few, we played some good pass and moves. That said, the shooting was abysmal, as per The Kraken and myself. True the second half was typical, sit back and absorb, but you just new that the inevitable was going to happen, even if it was a fluke.
Krak, I always liked Stephen Ireland. He'll bring a little quality to the team, providing he stays fit. I don't really care about age of players. I've played against some older ones in my time and what they lack in speed, not that their that slow, they make up in other ways.

I accepted we were better first half Wots but it was the second half I complained about when we just seem to sit back. Actually watching the short highlights on Quest, we looked a little unlucky not to be further ahead in the first half and the football also did look better as you say. Very disappointed and unsure why Doidge didn't get on but then Parky would be more likely to add a defender in the second half than go for the win.

I only came on here tonight to ask W63 for some tips on laying turf🤔but seeing as I’m here I might as well have my two penneth. What a pile of sh!t we’ve become! How? How? How? Did we only average 33% against Millwall?? They are marginally worse than us and we are pants!!! I’m sorry but I really honestly hoped for a defeat today and I really don’t care who I’ve upset with that statement. I’ve never ever wanted to see my beloved BWFC get beaten but if it forces through a change in the quickest possible time the so be it How much longer can we carry on with this manager and chairman??

Yes so did I but when you look at the rules - "Yes, to register for iFollow outside of the UK or Republic of Ireland, you will need a local bank account and local address." Royston Vasey? LOL

Green side up on the turf rftr!! ;-) As for the match, I'm with you on how bad we've become and I can perfectly understand the wish for us to lose but whilst nobody wants rid of Parky more than me, I don't want us to go down again so we have to get results where we can. It also seems that no matter how bad results and performances get, Anderson will stick with Parky because he can't afford not to, so hoping we'll lose is just the short route to Div 1. It's all round a very depressing situation and I think all we can hope for is that KA can find a buyer sooner than later, otherwise I think we're stuck with the status quo.

Correct whites, we have to get maximum results from our next two games. Sheff W and Wigan both have worse goals against than us, but they both know how to score, which is where we are failing. I dread the games in the run up to Christmas. Yesterday's game showed that we can play good football, but we fail in the final third. Our first goal in god knows how long came from a defender. Our leading goalscorer was subbed yesterday after 45 minutes (injury) and he last scored on the 15th September.
Who's going to score our goals?

This new TV money deal may add a bit of pressure on PP. At the moment we have enough points that survival is still well within reach but it's obvious to see where we are heading.
Any of our players worth £500K? Not sure the details on Doidges deal but sure Mr Dodgy Deal Anderson will be doing all be can to null and void it.
PP won't go now I think he will get Wednesday on Tuesday and Wigan and I think defeat to Wigan will be end of it.
Christmas coming up which usually means one thing for Ken. Money. Should have bumper crowds and club shop till ringing but think the fans are so removed from this lot.

Think your wrong on Parky leaving Oomac. He's here for the long haul.
If we get relegated it'll be more than Parky to blame and as davidm said before, Anderson stands to benefit financially no matter what happens. There's no money coming out of his pocket, that's for sure.

I don't think Anderson will sack Parky even if we get relegated because we all know that Parky is the manager who can lead us back to the championship 😡😡COYWM. I'm back at work Tuesday night so will miss the Sheffield game but I bet they can't wait to play us 😀😀

I think when the fans turn on Ken he will turn on Parky.
If Ken has a buyer then yes he won't sack Parky but if the interest dies down/proven to be frivolous then it's Ken who doors the bill or walks away without the payment he hoped.
If we have to give Forest Green a million for a player that PP refuses to play then that will be Parkys downfall.

doors the bill?
I don't think the fans are going to turn on anyone Oom. I don't know what they put in the pies, or coffee, but it certainly is tranquilizing the fans. If anything the fans should have turned on Parky over the dismal football over the last few years and most recently the lack of goals/not winning games. Instead fans are staying away, as per whites 63.
Then there's the fact that we aren't getting pummelled 5 or 6 to nil, so Parky is still in the running. Add to the fact that there's about 5 or 6 teams as bad as us and Parky could pull off another miracle.
There is no buyer, it's a con to get fans to buy season tickets and the like. If you could run a business that self supports itself and you still come out in the divi if all goes bust, why would you risk your own capital.
I don't think the wheels are going to fall off anytime soon, it'll be "as you were" for a long time yet.

Foots the bills. Although he doesn't really. Just asks for a loan to cover it.
Think a loss to Wigan would be a particular sore point and see the atmosphere turn more toxic.

Wots, I've posted a response to your change of manager comment on the Parky is Rubbish thread.
As regards age. Yes, it has something going for it if you're still really good enough to compete in the league you're playing in. Fernando Hierro and Colin Hendrie spring to mind in recent times but I don't think ours are except for Ireland. He is a top class player and if he comes off will definitely add something.
