Will he put in some players who know how to score? I would vote for Connor Hall and Obasi to be given at least 30 minutes at the end of the second half.

Obasi won't be playing according to Parkinson, in the BN. Seems he is tied up in red tape (?) and needs more trial games. Doesn't sound like he's even on the books.

Got a lot of respect for the opponents today. When you think of the difference between the journey since the Cardiff final. They lost the manager, went down stayed down for a while, came back up never really to achieve anything but survival. Now they're back. Without huge investment and risking financial ruin.
So from Sunday I hope they can get a chance at the playoffs. Huge game for us and with Clough I do fancy a chance of a goal and win. We are due a comfortable win aren't we? 3-1?

Barnsley, Burton and Hull games postponed today so what a chance to get three points and leave them in our wake. Not risking the journey over the Pennines today so I'll have to leave you guys to cheer the boys on to a win. Gutted I can't be there, this is one of the games I've been looking forward to this year but hey ho. I'd like to see Kirchhoff in the team today as his class could make all the difference to midfield. Come on Parky put out a team to win this one and don't stick at one. I'm going to stick my neck out and go for a 2-1 win to the Whites. This could be a defining game of the season and defeat today would be a huge blow. Preston don't look much from what I've seen so we should be confident of the three points today to make up for some more difficult games coming up. COYWM.

M62 is closed anyway Whites. Could have been worse, they could have closed it after the final whistle.
Think of the money and heartache you've saved. Your missus will be pleased.
Ooh. Forgot 1-1 and that's being optimistic.

Vela and Clough "Key to our survival" (BN) God help us, especially with Vela's recent appalling form!
Teaching the players to shoot and head on target could be "key to survival". Under 18's showing them how to score from halfway line lobbing the keepers who stray out of their area. Surely that is not rocket science for guys that all they do all day (well, for a few hours at an obscene hourly rate) is kick a ball, eh Parky? That ball is so light - just look at all the goals scored in other leagues from 25 yards and further travelling like a rocket giving the keepers no chance. Is it too difficult for our guys Parky? WHY do we not score more goals?

Cheers Wots, you're right about the heartache but not the money!! I've now got to take the missus to Meadowhall for something she saw yesterday that daughter wants. I think even the pain of a Parky performance is preferable to shopping. Anyway, shout the lads on for me and I'll be thinking of everyone being warmed by a win??

If we start with Wilbraham today id prefer to brave the journey and spend 3 hours in a New Look at Meadowhall.
Just checked the table from last season and blackburn were relegated with 51 points though will consider themselves unlucky as the season before 42 would have done it and the time before that too. So who knows how many points we need to add to our 34. At this rate were on for a point a game so 46 I'd say is par. So a win today to take us to 37 and needing 9 from 11 games? What a massive opportunity when you look at it like that.
Especially with some abandoned matches.

Definitely not a day for crossing the Pennines...my trip with Grandson to the North Yorks Railway tomorrow has been postponed, but as Chorley New Road is passable I have no excuse to avoid today's game! If it's an attritional game that should suit the Wanderers, and however uplifting it would be to see an attacking performance with goals it's more than likely that team selection will focus on containing the opposition and hitting them on the break. With the right selection of players that may well be the best chance of a win, time will tell, but home wins are essential to survival.

I'd love to be there but just not practical to travel today. Usually when I miss home league games we win handsomely...............wishful thinking!

I'm reasonably warm Whites, in the Algarve. A little rain here and there, but it won't get in the way of me wanting a win. Though, I'll plump for a draw. Hoofball, or not. Enjoy your day shopping. ;-)

Breaking news on Match Day Live. Obasi is confirmed as a Wanderer, despite what was said earlier in the BN. Pedro may get to see him yet!

Doesn't sound like either of us are missing much today so at least let's hope we can hang onto the lead.
