Love that you get a wish and ask for a nervy, tense, narrow win.
I just can't see anything good coming from this game. Changes or not.
Last season and maybe next season the gulf was two leagues apart and I think that will show on Saturday.
0-3

We won't learn and will be three down by half time. Consolation goal in the second half as they completely take foot off the gas. 1-3. Meanwhile. Ben Alnwick and Derik look on from the subs bench questioning why others were picked ahead of them.

I don't think I'll want to talk football after this season chip, I'm predicting a worse tally than Rotherham and I'm not convinced we will win all season. 2-0 head starts and our inability to score from open play is the recipe for disaster.
I dread to think what will happen if the West Ham lads decided not to return in January. Teams too imbalanced still, league one quality and the signings he brought in were sideways. Darby and Wilbraham.
I don't think Howard, Dervite, Darby, Little, Chris Taylor, Pratley, Wilbraham are cut out for this level. I'm not even sure on Alnwick, Karacan, A.Taylor, Cullen, Madine and Armstrong.
So I'm giving the benefit to Beevers and Wheater.
Leaves a very small squad of players I think can cut it and three of those are right wingers?
Of course we couldn't make wholesale changes operating in the embargo so I don't blame Parky altogether but he does need to find a way of getting more from those "maybe good enoughs" and find a system that fits and he needs to ditch the ones we know are not of this quality namely Howard, Darby, Dervite, Pratley. Best of British with that Phil.

It's hard I know OooooohMacron but who else would we support if it wasn't for the wanderers. I wanted to get a season ticket this season but I could not afford the money and travel money as well but I will be going to some games with just a little hope rather than anything else. If we could by some miracle stay up and get some fool to put some money in then maybe just maybe we might be ale to push on eh ?. It's good to be a wanderer It ain't dull that's for sure !!

I must be the eternal optimist or am I just naïve?
I don’t go with all this doom and gloom. Yes, we are bottom of the league but we are nothing like as bad as 2 seasons ago and we have a better manager – I don’t particularly like his style of play but he will get us points.
We were dealt a rough deal with the fixture list and still it continues but we have enough to get points.
I hope he abandons the back 3 and wing backs style as it leaves us wide open.
If we can re-establish the Wheater/Beevers partnership and play a flat back 4 with proper full backs, I have hope.
Regardless of our inability to score from open play, I feel that we also need to get a solid central midfield so that opposing teams cannot run through us. If we can be secure, we will gather points.
Not too sure where he is going to play all his wingers (Ameobi. Morais, Buckley, Noone) but we must become solid.
Having said all that, I expect points tomorrow (would settle for a draw but we really need all 3 points).

A back four with two SOLID DISCIPILNED defensive midfielders whom hold their positions and dont go walkabout will get us the points we need this season!

Difficult to consider having witnessed the Hull horror show, but last season saw an amazing August in terms of results, followed by a sobering September that yielded dreadful results...perhaps we will see things in reverse this season, hopefully starting today. I hope (yet again) that Derik is employed in midfield, and I wouldn't mind seeing Robinson play on the left of midfield, he has pace, can beat a man, and can cross a ball. This would allow Taylor to focus on defensive duties.... to be honest I would be happy if a striker was sacrificed if it meant avoiding defeat, whether it's 3 or 4 at the back, and much will depend on Karacan's fitness or otherwise. This will arguably be the toughest test thus far, certainly at home, and if the tendency to concede early goals can be eliminated who knows ? Whether it is, as David M suggests, optimism or naivety, supporters cling steadfastly to their hopes and expectations, and I for one am hoping to see a reversal in fortunes today, however unlikely that is on the evidence of the last 2 performances. As ever, COYWs!!

Can somebody please tell me what hold Pratley has over this club he start's again for god sake why do we have to play with ten men and an embargo how unfair is that. Nice to see a back four and Derik starting let's hope he has a good game.

1-0 down inside 15 minutes again I don't know still a long way to go yet. Half time 1-0 can we win the second half hope so cause while it's 1-0 we could still grab something

Fortress Macron. No points and shipping goals.
Right to change the system but think he picked the wrong players again. Personally I wouldn't have put Wheater back in against Assambalonga. Darby right back? Right back to league one.
Again Pratley? And not convinced Madine is the man if we're playing one up. He just doesn't score. Think the system will work a lot better with Ameobi and Vela hopefully will see off captain fantastic. Derick subbed off before they scored so that's probably his scapegoat picked and Parky can say he was wrong to change things.
0-3.
New contract for Parky based on nothing in this league.
Defending like stumps and cannot score from open play. Time to go Phil. Need any manager who has an idea to coach and develop not hit and hope.
