Yuk.Pratley and Danns in midfield- after their scintillating success last time out. A perfect chance to throw in some youth - missed again

I am glad to see we are giving youth a go tonight.....only Max Clayton makes it onto the bench...once again ahead of any player we have brought through the ranks. Even Herd makes it into the team ahead of anyone we might have nurtured.....this a player who whilst a5t Villa has been on loan at Port vale, Wycombe, and Lincoln and in the last 3-4 years has made only 36 appearances for Aston Villa. I am so glad to see how DF is nurturing young players. Watch a joke. Freedman get lost.

Yuk.Pratley and Danns in midfield- after their scintillating success last time out. A perfect chance to throw in some youth - missed again Give me strength! Freedman out! Gartside out! I have it with an Arabic commentary on cricfree.sx/live/watch/chelsea_vs_bolton_wanderers/56751 and with a message saying "live here - wait for kickoff" on cricfree.sx/live/watch/chelsea_vs_bolton_wanderers/56750I hope Chelsea don't pull any punches and we are utterly humiliated just to show what an incompetent bunch of coaches and players we really have. Shame it is not on a Sky or BT channel and then we might get some press asking wtf is going on down at t'Macron!

cluck cluck gobble, gobble....turkey shoot.... good god. not got a stream going yet, but just going off the stats & bits from radio. 15 mins gone Schurrle already had 7 chances. commentator absolutely stunned how's it still 0-0. this is just cruel,,you may as well blindfold a multiple amputee and chuck him into a bullfight, or ask him to swim the channel. !! what was DF saying..."we don't fear them "..yeah right.
there we go..as i type, 1-0 down

Don't want to see ANYone coming on here again to continue to peddle the illusion that Lonergan is anything less than excellent. Mistake-a-game Bogdan is not in the same class.

Watched the whole game and it was embarrassing up to our goal as we had only been in their half twice. However we were not humiliated but would have been if Bogdan was in goal!! Lonergan superb and made many world class saves. Thank goodness no-one in the Chelsea team had their shooting boots on as the misses were pathetic - very like watching the Wanderers when they actually do get a chance to have a shot.
Stats terrible 28 shots to 3 but we put up a great fight in the last 20 minutes and had Chelsea rattled a few times. Cahill resorting to his usual wrestling and pulling players down and never being penalised.

oh well, never like a defeat, but at least we kept the scoreline respectable. i predicted 3-1 which i thought was a tad optimistic, so to beat that is good. rode our luck massively at certain points as Pedro says. but also had them worried for 10 minutes or so at the end..maybe that's a bit of Mourinho's mentality to sit back, as opposed to the 7-0 man city have inflicted tonight on sheff wed.
disagree about Lonergan..played great on the night but one night does not maketh the good keeper. at the end of last season, Bogdan's form was a big influence in our rise up the league. his form at start of last season was dodgy though & i was all for him being dropped. once injury free he did well. wasn't he injured pre-season this time and hardly played any games, am i right in thinking he picked up a different injury now. it's concerning that he keeps picking up so many injuries. when he's fit and on form, he's the number one, but he needs to show something like the form he showed last season, otherwise i'm of the opinion that neither of the 2 keepers are quite up to it. overall though we should be protecting our keepers much better too...Schurrle had a shot within 1 minute..and his first on target was just 2 mins later. this happens far too often.

Delighted that Lonergan has done well. And if he strings together a series of such games I will sing his praises as I will Bogdan if he does. And I will give credit to Freedman if we go on a run of wins. But is what is good for the gander equally good for the goose?

A narrow loss= Win For Dougie. Enough to save his skin from the critics especially Southern based as they were.
We think that footballers are egotist, selfish, lazy people in terms of I work my 40 hour week compared to them! But seriously, how disheartening is it for them to see a guy brought in 2 or 3 days ago play in a position you think you've been ready for 12 months ago.
Dougie you've lost the squad, fans and the plot! Get gone.

It was only 2-1 because of a one off keeping performance and poor finishing by Chelsea. It very we'll could have ended like Sheffield We'd but luckily it didn't. Don't anyone lose sight of the fact we were slaughtered for football with not a single thought about winning. Changes nothing and again proves everything.
