We have more chance of platting 🌫️ of getting automatic promotion we have blown it with mediocre performances so at worst fourth and when we play posh next Saturday 27th don’t play our strongest team unless the 🐏 blow it big time COYWM What gives me confidence in the playoffs is that we rarely lose by more than 1. Blackpool and Wigan the unfortunate exceptions and Blackpool wasn't helped by going down to 10. So worst case scenario we come to the TS with a narrow deficit and then we know what we have to do. 3 of the playoff teams back in the mix this season. Seems rare that should happen but you wonder how last season may have shaped this one. Us - are we scarred by a very disappointing defeat to Barnsley, does that play a part. We've failed to beat them again this season. Do they have the hoodoo on us. Or do they just know how to stifle Evattball? Barnsley - lost at Wembley with I think literally the last kick or head of the game. Do they fear going back to London and suffering the same cruel fate? Posh - 4-0 up and blew it. If any team look nervy about the play offs surely it's posh. However they have a Wembley win to take confidence in. They had Barry Fry on Talksport and he said he's been to Wembley as a manager/owner/chairman and never lost.

To be honest chip I think of all the play off contenders Barnsley are the ones I’d choose to play, assuming of course they make it? I think we’ve regularly been the better team just failed to score and last year in both play off games we were absolutely dire. Additionally I don’t think Tykes are anywhere near the team they were last year but frankly I don’t fear anybody if we have a full team and adopt a positive attitude. Will we though, that’s the big question?
