So it’s looking very much like Dave Challinors Stockport along with Phil Parkhoofson’s Wrexham will be in League One next season
If we are still there, I’d make the change and go for Challinor
I notice the BN using a picture of Kieran Sadlier, almost as if he’s going to be our saviour by belting in a 3 minute hat trick for Wycombe tonight
If I were him, being let go, I’d not be pulling my tripe out Hope I’m wrong and he has a worldy.

Sads has all the ability needed to put a spoke in Derbys wheel tonight and I very much hope he does. M in the camp that thinks he was never given a proper chance here under Evatt’s system and could have been a valuable player if he had. He seems to have settled in well at Wycombe and I genuinely hope he continues to especially tonight. I don’t think there was any ill feeling when he left so he shouldn’t have any intentions other than to do well for Wycombe.

WOW
Miracles can happen
Wycombe 0 Derby 0
Win every game and were up
Easier said than done but if that’s not the tonic to make us show how truly average Portsmouth are then I don’t know what is
COYWM Let’s do this⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Get in 0-0 it’s in our hands now let’s not fxck it up 🤞COYWM To be honest chip, Wycombe have highlighted how poor this Derby side are, when in fact, they could have beaten them near the end and that’s what makes our loss at their place even more angering 😡😡

I agree Derby aren’t that much and also that losing that game was a major blow but I actually don’t think Pompey are really much better and we should have no fears about playing them. I’m not sure though how tonight’s game affects Pompey for our game. Will they be quite so keen on winning because even if they now lose it shouldn’t really impair them much. Either way we just have to win that game and certainly the two after after which maybe even a draw would be enough for us? Certainly a massive boost for us and if we don’t do it now there’s absolutely nobody to blame but ourselves. 😁

In all honesty can we, can we really do it I mean we have a decent side if we play full on but we always seem to mess things up at the wrong time COYWM

Well we’ve 3 home games and the one at Posh to get over the line and if somebody had put that to me a few weeks ago, I’d rip their arms off
Derby fans will be glued to the radio/telly when we play Pompey, just like I was tonight, but like you say W63 we now cannot rule Posh out as they’re chomping at the bit and they have goal scored all over the park

Well looking at the fixtures the table could look either a whole lot better or a whole lot worse on Saturday night. Derby have Orient at home which won’t be easy and especially not in front of a very nervy Pride Park crowd and Posh have what looks like a really tough trip to Oxford who seem to have rallied well since we played them and are now making a strong run for the play offs. Surely we should beat Pompey, we’re a better side if we turn up but that’s always the doubt. If we start slowly and over cautiously with Rico slowing things down I can see us throwing it away but if we get at them from the off, move it quickly as we can we’ll be too good for them. It will also be nteresting to see if Dions back because we’ve heard nothing and also if Rico and Josh are actually fit to start. Let’s hope so because we need all guns firing for these final games.

Not sure if I’m right in saying this W63 but every time Rico is laid up, we do seem to rally differently and we seem to get the results
I’m really struggling with this Dion saga!! Has he had a fall out with Evatt? Was he fit to return a game or 2 ago? Personally, prior to his injury, he was struggling, so for me, if he’s fit, I’d put him on the bench because i think Aaron and Bod can handle this pressure cooker on Saturday and then bring him on (1) if we’re really struggling and in need of a goal or (2) bring him on @ 75 mins if we’re 3-0 up (did I just say that)
Other than that, don’t fix what ain’t broke but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE non of this tippy tappy slow moving from Bax and Reec’s as Yengi, Bishop and Paddy Lane will muller us
With Lincoln breathing down Oxfords neck, I’d expect the U’s to show up against Posh, but all these other permutations will be futile if we don’t keep the fire burning with victory (and nothing less) over Pompey
One other thing, the top of the table team at the end will be promoted (stating the obvious i know) and if that will be Portsmouth then so be it, my point being, if we want to join them, we have to be better than them and beat them on our own soil, that’s what will determine if we are good enough to go up

Quite agree rioch it’s what we do now in these four remaining games that will determine where we finish and if we do win them all then it’s a done deal and I didn’t think I’d be saying that a week or so ago, even when Davidm said it? As for Dion, I’m just not convinced that it’s injury related because too many things have happened since he disappeared. Of course I may be completely wrong but I suspect that he had a deal lined up with a Championship club and for whatever reason it didn’t happen. Even before his injury he wasn’t the same player and I do wonder if it has something to do with him being pulled after 70 minutes in every game when all he wanted to do was add to his goals. At that time IE had striker options and needed to keep them all in line and if that meant pulling the starter off so be it whether they liked it or not. Like you I’d stick with Bod and AC on Saturday and whilst I do agree on Rico I think for this one we may need him, although that young Yenghi gave him a torrid time at Portsmouth. If he’s not fit it’s either Toal or Taylor in the middle but I do hope that everyone’s fit and the team stays unchanged.

I guess that form goes out of the window when it comes to the Play Offs but glancing at the form from the last 6 games and it reads (points won)
WWDWDW Portsmouth 14 WLWDDW Derby 11 LDWWDD Bolton 9 LLWWLW Peterborough 9 LWLLDL Barnsley 4 WDWWWL Oxford 13 WWWDLW Lincoln 13 LLDWWW Blackpool 10
I'm wondering who has the momentum here, although still 2 games left (3 if you're Posh)
