Why didn't we bring Sheehan (a recognised penalty taker) on in the 93rd minute?

Enough reasons tonight for Evatt to buy Collins or loan in Ennis

If we're going to lose a shoot out make it now in the BSM and not in an important game.
Hard to be critical because I'm sure if we'd really have wanted it we would have played Charles, Vic, Dempsey and Sheehan.
Positives. Ramsay and Ogbete got more time. Coleman got some good saves, should have kept the first pen out.
Negatives. JDB awful game. Headless chicken and poor penalty. Dion our go to penalty taker showing his lack of confidence at the moment. Sure he's missed a fair few now. Mendes Gomes isn't a RWB. Morley great penalty but I'm really struggling with his play at the moment. So poor and his deliveries are so poor. Ashworth and Iredale not the best games. GT why do you feel the need to pick up these stupid yellow cards. 87th minute and flying in on a RB with no danger at all. Jerome time to go Old Timer.

Enough reasons tonight for Evatt to buy Collins or loan in Ennis Yes rioch have to agree. Another miss by Dion, he really is struggling at the moment and his confidence must be zero. Still, at least he stood up for one. Frankly not really concerned, rather save it and stuff them in the league but let’s hope we see either Ennis or Collins in before tomorrow night or even both if we can ship some out?

A really disappointing 2nd half where we just fell away and Blackpool played more aggressively.
We still could have won it when Charles turned in the box but his shot, like most of our shots tonight, was straight at the keeper.
Positives:-
Coleman,
Toal,
Iredale,
Negatives:-
Morley,
Mendes-Gomes,
Others just so-so

Had enough chances in the first half to win. Another Evatt halftime team talk that changes everything good about the first half. Felt sorry for Ashworth but don't forget both our strikers missed. Now let's win the league.

Portsmouth really do seem to be riding thier luck at the moment. Or do they create their own?
Last time we won from a losing position? Could argue we aren't often in that. But know when Orient and Pompey took the lead we never looked like getting a point. Knocked the stuffing out of us.

I'm not really fussed about being out, BUT hate tonight's referee. Gives us nothing, and the main reason why Blackpool kept most of the possession in the second half, As an example of his uselessness need only to look at his unnecessary booking of Santos in the early minutes. The Bolton fans at Bloomfield Road were justifiably castigating him, don't you think ? Remember him in October at home v Carlisle?

Best to be out of this if we want to go up
Could it be said that our pursuit of this Sherpa Van teacup became our downfall last term?
I know results in and around it weren’t disastrous but one could argue that in March 23, we achieved 1 point from 9 and in April, despite winning 4 games since the Papa trophy final, we also lost to AccyStan and drew with Cambridge and Burton and but for the grace of the footballing gods, Derby and Peterborough were also dropping points Remember clever Barnsley fielding a much weakened side against Posh which saw the lose 2-0 knowing their league position wouldn’t change and with Wednesday beating Derby which meant that Posh would claim the last play off spot just shows how fickle league standings are come the business end
Fast forward to now and what a position of health we find ourselves in. We have promotion within our grasp and it’s never looked any more obvious BUT we are still only at the ‘half’ way stage and there’s a hell of a lot of football to be played We all know how that can unfold
Yes, with Peterborough still in the BSM trophy, maybe they might do a Bolton in their pursuit of the Wembley dream, taking their eyes off the main prize and also, with Pompey gifting points yet again leaving us with 3 games on them and just 1 win away from swapping positions with them, all looks rosey, but we can not forget Derby who are hot on our tails
That’s going to be one hell of a tasty game against Peterborough come the end of season, I just hope we don’t need the points to go up on the day😬😬
