Tough game again this..
Apart from Shrewsbury (8) we are the lowest scoring team in the top 10 clubs of the league with 10, Posh have 14
Since the late 70’s we’ve a had decent record against The Posh though W 7 D 1 L 4
Although of late and since 2013 we’ve both won a couple of games each
Remember that 5-4 loss at their place when they were rock bottom of the championship!!
Again, we face another side that score goals in Clark-Harris and Marriott, but they’re also as crap at the back as we can be at times They have W 4 D 0 L 4 Against our W 4 D 2 L 2
Home game, 15k plus crowd, I hope for the win

Another 3 points for Wanderers today I think. Apart from a couple of decent strikers I don’t see much else in Posh so as long as Rico and Johnson can keep them quiet I don’t see any problem. It will be interesting to see what side IE puts out today. Does he go along with the old adage that you don’t change a winning team, or does he tinker again to try and keep his squad happy? For me I’d keep the same side apart from Kachunga who I’d replace with Bod then bring on Dapo after 60 minutes when Posh are tiring. Either way we should win this, I think quite comfortably, so barring silly slip ups I’ll go for 3-1 to the Whites. 🥳

Setting off to get my train in a couple of hours I’m not to sure about today as they will want to bounce back from there home defeat against Fleetwood, so I’m expecting a tight game with few chances and won by a 2-1 score line. Fingers crossed it’s to us onwards and upwards COYWM

Posh lost half their games today. Good front pair but if Santos is the best outside the prem, with Jones and Johnson then they should be missing all game.
Hope we dont change it too much. Our biggest problem will be converting chances into goals. Still have little confidence in any of our strikers to do that often enough.
Think 1-1.

Should be a good game today.
Being Mr Optimist, I don’t understand the implied negativity about the team and the manager. We are 5th in the league after a difficult set of opening fixtures and playing some good football.
Team wise it is interesting.
The manager states that he believes in rotation based on the opposition but this morning comes out and states that Thomason is undroppable.
Defensively, I think we’ll stay the same.
Midfield I would think there is a place for Morley somewhere.
Upfront, I hope for the return of Bodvarsson although will he be 100% fit to start or just to come on as a sub? As always, I would like to see Afolayan in the starting 11 but unfortunately, Kachunga seems to be in favour at the moment.
Not too sure if our defence is capable of a clean sheet but I will go for a 2-1 win.

I think we can be fairly sure from that that Thomason will be on the bench.
I don't mind rotation in midfield and attack. Time for Dapo Dempsey and Saddlier to feature. Defence though needs stabilty. Pity it's a week area needing double protection

Bloody train cancelled from Manchester Piccadilly at 14.01 going to have to wait until 14.30 which means I will miss the kick off and then they wonder why people don’t use the trains so unreliable a bit like Bolton’s defence hahaha onwards and upwards COYWM

Never mind chip, we’ll wait scoring goals until you get in the ground😂😂
Question??? Has Dapos form just been crap or has Evatt fallen out with him I’m probably answering my own question here as I’ve slated his performances on the past when he’s started a game. Hopefully he comes on and bags a brace and becomes our SuperSub!!

TEN SECOND WARNING EVATT
We are NOT Man City and we have Santos at the back Please stop with this kicking out from the goalie to a defender either side of him, it’s going to cost us goals

Us fans blaming the ref for a crap performance is a bit like the pot calling the kettle black
Few chances but a scrappy battle, more about yellow cards and anger
Second half should be made for Dapo as they do panic at the back. I’d deffo swap him for the ineffectual Kacha
Wish Evatt would stop moaning at refs.

I do wonder when some posters on here go for 3-1
We’ve had 5 corners so far and been woeful on every one
Get some front men on Evatt…Now please

Just lost a lengthy report when train lost signal.
Potted version. Niggly gamesmanship by Peterboro plus late on Dapo disrupted the flow far too much. We had chances through Bradley Charles and Iredale to put the game to bed but didn't. This made us more vulnerable towards the end but a lucky goal from a deflected mishit earned the points.
I thought Dempsey and Thomasson stood out. Our subs took us backwards. Kachunga also had quite a goid game whereas Charles huffed and puffed to little consequence. Bradley is our main overlapping threat but mot that was good came from Thomasson and Dempsey
Santos was poor- didn't attempt much less win a header and was dragged about and often outmuscled by a much smaller opponent.
Bolton may not have deserved to win but Peterboro most surely desrved to lose. Trafford 7 Bradley 7 Jones 6 Santos 5 Johnston 6 Iredale 6 Dempsey 8 Thomasson 8 Williams 7 Kachunga 7 Charles6 Subs 4 apiece- all struggled to make an impact
