I wanted to see Dion help score our way to the play offs but clearly his goal drought hasn’t helped our cause. As someone previously mentioned, has Evatt over coached him??
Baka has been an impact when on and perhaps should have got more starts than he has
If FV IE SB are serious enough to push this club forward, there’s some big changes needed, but as a former defender, that’s where Ian must begin to improve dramatically
I’m still scratching my head as to how the likes of other ex defenders have fared so well since taking up the managerial role compared to Evatt and without being too unfair, one lucky promotion through covid in an awful league and a promotion from Div 2 in a time where anyone could have got promoted (had to even beat Crawley on the last day) is not really ground breaking. That said, when I realise the team we had v Coventry since the collapse of BWFC, I guess he’s done as well as can be expected🤔
Apart from Ryan Lowe(striker) and Scott Parker (midfielder)
Leam Richardson(right back) Wigan Rob Edwards(CB) (FGR) Steve Cooper (defender) Forest Matt Taylor (CB) Exeter
All of those above are doing very well with their respective clubs but I tip my hat to Liam Manning at MKD who really, has come from nowhere, with enough games left to pip Rotherham to the 2nd spot. Also, not to mention Steven Schumacher (midfielder) who has steered Plymouth back to play off contention since Ryan Lowe left for PNE
Less said about Pep Guardiola (DM) or Jurgen Klopp (ex striker turned defender)😬

andyl....***** Williams battled away and earned his goal but I do wish we'd stop passing to him centrally when he faces his own goal. He has no turning capacity***** I think that is actually a strong part of his game...especially when he recieves it out of defence
