Anybody interested in this tonight, assuming the weather doesn’t doom it? Fleetwood will, obviously play a very different side to the one we played last week but hopefully we’ll still get the right result. I’m quite confident for tonight, which is normally a bad sign, but I think weather permitting we’ll get the 3 points. Wanderers to win 2-1.

Beat me to it, Whites
Two matches this week which give an ideal opportunity to move up the league.
Fleetwood cannot be in a much worse position – no manager plus a 5-1 defeat on Saturday.
We must ensure that we are ruthless.
The weather may dictate our style of play a little.
There are 2 issues regarding team selection – despite our injury crisis we have an additional body both in defence and attack.
I assume that Aimson, Santos & Johnston will be the defence with Baptiste on the bench but which 3 play up front?
Afolayan is a definite starter so 2 from Doyle, Kachunga and Amaechi – I expect Amaechi to start on the bench.
This is an ideal chance to get points so I will go for a 2-1 win.

Not wishing to split hairs with you W63 but we are the away team tonight pal😬 We are almost equidistant between the last play off place and the highest relegation spot. One win, draw or loss could fling us in any direction Fleetwood should be there for the taking and I’m very much hoping for an away win What team will we witness! A Stockportesque weak and uninterested line up, full of hearty possession but no end product, or a quality side made up of style, guile, hunger, g⚽️als, attempts on goal, like against Ipswich, Charlton and Doncaster Hope Evatt goes for it tonight backed by our usual phenomenal away support. Good chap I know tells me that he will not return to the ReeMac until they scrap this membership thing. He reminded me that he became a Wanderers supporter back in the 50’s when you could just walk in off the street and see a game Now, it’s a little more difficult and he states also that these 13 thousand crowds we’ve been getting are not only a drop on the earlier 16+ thousand support, but he says they are also misleading as it’s reckoned that only 9 thousand witnessed the Crew game, not the 13,800 as announced🤔🤔 Food for thought me thinks🤔

A bit disappointed this is on a Tuesday night as I would have gone if it was a Saturday and seen my step-mother while I was there who lives around the corner from the ground. Was there when we beat them 4-1 what a game and the noise the away fans made was brilliant be loud and proud tonight lads and lasses and sing us home to three points. 3-1 win tonight with Doyle getting a couple onwards and upwards stay safe one and all COYWM

I expect the boys to turn up tonight and get the 3 points and as you’ve indicated we need them. As for your chaps membership thing, like him I believe the club have massively underestimated the effect this will have on crowds. It’s not that people object to joining a scheme as such, more that they don’t see a point if they’re just occasional because they just won’t bother. You’d like to believe some study was done on who is attending matches before a decision like that was made but I don’t think it was and the whole thing was just rushed. I’m not going to enroll my daughter who come for the Rotherham games, or my in laws for Sheffield United so there’s a few they’ve lost if and when we play and I’m sure I’m not alone. Anyway back to tonight and let’s hope the weather isn’t too bad and we get the points?

After the goal we seem to be the better team with Fleetwood just slinging it up front with us trying to play football COYWM

Great save from Dixon after our shoddy defence was breached again we need more attacking with a little bit of thought about the conditions free kick slammed into the wall COYWM

A million corners and I don't think we have troubled Fleetwood defence we are so poor getting the ball into there centre circle it's so frustrating we seem to look the better side but at halftime we have nothing to show for our trouble. Maybe better second half COYWM halftime 1-0 down

Plenty of hope with wind advantage if we don't overhit and Doyle can stay onside.
That we are behind is probably down to another Dozy Santos letting his man free. Had we gone two down on the stroke of half time it most certainly would have been. It could be worth subbing him as it's hard to see him coping with the wind- he has all but conceded two penalties as it is.
We need to get it on the ground and shoot from distance. We need to use the flanks. Our set pieces as ever have been abysmal. Thomason and Lee are doing well in midfield as Gordon and John when attacking.
We have more than enough to win this by two or three but why o why do we keep putting ourselves under pressure by messing about at the back. Aimson all but gave away two goals

So so poor
Big boot football into the wind whereas Fleetwood are passing about neatly.
Santos seems to think that he does not need to mark ever. He allowed their man 3 yards of space to score and almost repeated it in the last minute.
Terrible mistake by Aimson saved by Dixon.
Our passing is appalling - just kick and rush
Awful

not watching it on IPlayer...just local radio for me. awful start again. expected this game to be an absolute dolly.... relatively easy win. Fleetwood were in pretty awful form, lost at weekend & playing with 10 men for quite a while.
good to see Mcginlay outing some of Santos's gaffes. Evatt will probably try and get him cancelled. both Mcginlay and Dearden thought RS conceded a cert penalty about 30 mins in. another risky manouevre they mentioned, as well as another error at approx 45 mins where Mcginlay said "Santos lucky as he completely missed the ball", & it didn't fall quite right for the Fleetwood attacker.
still expect us to do our usual, and pull it round in the 2nd half. Mcginlay also mentioned an incident where we could have easily put a cross in first time...but hesitated, then turned back. Dearden agreed and said how he'd seen other teams over-pass like that too. the type of thing that frustrates me.

Did I hear right in the first half the commentator saying that Fleetwood have not won a game in 11 in all competitions ?
