To WS63 and the others who posted in the same, repetitive, negative vein week after week, please don't pretend that any of your moaning to this point showed any respect whatsoever for Parky or the job he was doing to keep the club surviving against all the odds. You said he was incapable of change. No manager in his right mind would change a successful style which had got the team promoted and then moving up the table from a poor start, unless he absolutely had to. The sack for failure would be inevitable. The club's whole existence was under threat. It has been a question of priorities. PP was right; you were wrong. I had to laugh at one of the pre-match comments on here that suggested that we try a more sophisticated approach "and SEE WHAT HAPPENS"!! Oh yes, a very sound approach!! The stakes are too high for a gambler's instinct. Joanna, there was me thinking you and I were starting to agree!! Silly me. I only say what I see and until recently, arguably forced due to the sale of Madine, what Parky has served up has been abysmal. A very streaky promotion last year and a similarly poor season this year, due entirely to a completely inflexible attitude, isn't actually something that I find worthy of praise. It was only a few weeks ago that Parky claimed Alf didn't fit his system, yet now he's his star man. He could have been his star man months ago. These free gratis players and loans that you have criticised as not good enough to play football are now proving you wrong. The point is, we could have been at least safe in mid table if Parky had listened to us "negative" supporters, instead of happy clappers like you and your "Parky is wonderful" mates. You say that no manager in his right mind would change a successful style and of course your absolutely right, but a good manager in his right mind would have seen it wasn't a successful style and changed it. Parky now has, so maybe he's actually seen sense at last? I hope he has but would it not be appropriate for you to do the same instead of criticising those supporters who could see his mistakes all along?
