Of course I want the win but I cannot see beyond a 2-0 defeat. I’m not trying to get in first with the negatives even though I’ve started the thread, I just can’t see us scoring and only due to our inconsistencies in front of goal. Can’t think of the last time we got above 3 goals scored in a game, come to think of it, I can’t remember the last time we bagged 2 in a game. (Ok... Cardiff at home) Scoring goals hasn’t been coming easy for us and PP offers nothing to suggest that will change. Norwich aren’t that great but we don’t capitalise that often on the not so great sides (Sunderland exception and that was flukey) Please prove me wrong Parky, Hull have just laid down the gauntlet by beating Sheff Utd and moved above us so let’s surprise everyone with 3 points at Carrow!! Can’t see it meself COYWM

Like yourself I don't want to sound like a broken record but it's hard to back Bolton away from home. What's the form? LLWLLL? If we draw we've probably spelt a Welsh word but it's not great and quite frankly I can't say we've changed a great deal to rectify it.
I'd expect that at least once a season you get a complete "where did that come from?" Performance like when Dougie Freedman won 5-1 at Elland Road. Or like that week Neil Lennon didn't lose. But sometimes everything goes the way it should and when you score 9 goals away from home then these shock results tend not to happen.
In truth the best we can hope for is a battling draw. That probably means grabbing a lead and hanging on for dear life. Against Boro, Brentford, QPR and Cardiff I don't think we registered a shot on target. If that's Parkys A game then stick me down for a 3-0 defeat.
The only away win came about from a couple of injuries and forced changed and a system. Probably Sheff Utd were in shock when they saw two strikers.
Unsure of the injuries today. Henry, Little out for suspension. Vela injured. Flanagan, Kirkhoff featured on Weds night so can't see them going in.
I did say on his first spell that Clough was a bit of a homer and his goals come mainly at home. Not sure about assist but think it could be a day for ALF and Sam....why am I even bothering I know it's Will Brown up top!

A comfortable 2-0 win for the home team seems to be the norm for us. Don't expect anything different from this game sadly.

Despite our dismal away record, I'd like to think that we can pull at least a point from this game. Admitted Parkinson's tactics are one dimensional, but if we can hit our home form, which isn't bad, then I'm in for a 1-1 draw. Hopefully, we score first and late in the game.

Bolton haven't won at Carrow Road since November 2000 when goals from Michael Ricketts and Gudni Bergsson gave the Trotters a 2-0 victory. SAM's prediction Home win 62% Draw 22% Away win 16% SAM, the Sports Analytics Machine, is a super-computer built by @profianmchale of the University of Liverpool. F*** SAM! COYFWM

We’ve had 19% possession in that first half and no shots at goal.... but at least we’ve had 2 corners Am I surprised?? Surely Norwich will not see tho one it to a goalless draw!!!!

Well, I have no idea what was put in Norwich‘s half time cuppa, but they were truly awful in the second half. In fact, I think they managed to make us look the better team. First half was truly abysmal, we were all over the place and very lucky to go in on terms. Second half and a bit of a reshuffle with Morais leaving the right wing back slot and moving to left midfield gave us better balance and them something to think about.
They did very little in the second half , most of the pressure we invited on ourselves by continually giving away silly free kicks. When will we learn? With a bit more composure in the last third, we could actually have nicked it, but I for one am happy with a point.
No one played especially well, but, for me Karacan and Morais were the pick. and, for all his clumsiness and faults, Pratley really gives it his all. A bone crunching tackle right at the end, and for someone just back after a leg break, he didn‘t flinch. Love him, or hate him, his commitment to the cause is beyond question.

Burton, Sunderland, Reading, Birmingham all with home games(QPR too) and is going to Carrow Road, after Hull already won. Could have been a lot more precarious.
20% possession at half time and 25% at the end. Not a shot on target for the forth away game in a row(or recently at least)
A win would have been out of this world, a draw is a good return but I'm sorry this is not the kind of football I'm interested in.
Would I rather have played better and lost today? No not in that context but if that showed roots of something better that was coming then I'd probably accept it.
Surely at this rate Alan Houghton and Marc Iles will be sharing a cab for away games because that's no advert for football.

Well put OooM I will take the point as it’s better than a loss but I tell you what... PP is the grim reaper of football and is bringing a slow and painful death to the game with his dull mind numbing tactics.

We were overrun in the first half and could have been four down but for brave tackles and good saves. Second half different. We began with momentum and played much more in their half. Could have nicked it
