great stuff. as well as Dazza Prazza have played, i've kept meaning to say he could put the cherry on top, and add the odd goal or 2 with his box to box qualities. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darren_Pratley#Career_statisticshe can do it. in his last 2 seasons at Swansea he got 7 & 9 lge goals respectively....very useful contributions. this is what NL does..gets players playing to their max. Rob Hall is another one i've kept backing.. he seemed to do well esp first half..2 shots on target and hit the post. one surprising stat for you...almost halfway thru the season and still no away lge goals from any of our strikers !!

Pleased as punch with that result I hate going into Saturdays fixtures knowing we've just been beaten on the Friday, so the win has given me a lift for a Merrier Chrimbo Well done Wanderers

Ooooomacron above writes: "Lonergan has kept us in it with world class saves. (Andy and Julie may have to concede the argument to Joanna.... Lonergan on this form is one of the best in the league)"
Good to see another convert to the truth about Lonergan's superiority over Bogdan that's been blindingly obvious to fair-minded onlookers from the start.
In fact, it was the corresponding fixture last season that gave us just one of the examples that make the difference absolutely stark:-- right at the end of the game a year ago, Bogdan parried a shot from Jackson back out centrally, thus handing an easy tap-in to Millwall's on-rushing forwards (and the loss of two points!) More often than not, Lonergan manages to get the ball over the bar, round the post or out wide to safety. In many other ways that I've listed previously, AL is a better keeper.
But this is also a time for celebrating another stark contrast:-Lennon's inspirational effect compared to the dire managerial style of Dougie. Look at what Wheater says in the BN today in words which mirror those of others who have spoken out about the depressing effect DF had on the club. There is now a buzz of expectation which lifts the spirits and gets everyone playing above themselves. Great stuff!
What will happen when we actually acquire a natural striker (or two!)?

View(s) from the other side:
Millwall manager Ian Holloway has admitted that his side must start winning games in front of their home supporters following another disappointing evening at The Den.
The Lions suffered their fifth league reverse of the season on their own turf against Bolton Wanderers, with Darren Pratley's second-half strike enough to settle the contest.
Speaking to reporters following the game, Holloway said: "I thought we looked hesitant going forward. The fans pay our wages so we have to learn to play better in front of them here at The Den.
"We created enough chances to win the game. We have to stick together and keep going. I'm gutted for everybody here. We were ready for this game, but it didn't happen for us out there."
Tonight's defeat leaves Millwall down in 20th place in the Championship table.

Lonergan on this form is indeed as good as anyone in the division. Bogdan on form at the tail end of last season was likewise. We need both.
I understand from one of the intrepid travellers that Trotter came on and did well. Pratley has had three years to impress us. Trotter may yet. Hall too after two. It's quite splendid the effect Lennon and presumably his sidekicks are having. Mjallby must be doing something right to get all these clean sheets out of our defenders

Great result and good to see more shots and shots on target. Desperately sorry for Max Clayton. Looking forward to Lennon getting the best out of Trotter too - he will surprise all the naysayers.
