I'd like to know what the ethnic abuse actually was. If he'd called chungy a ba***rd would that have got the same response or was it because he maybe called him a Korean ba***ard that it was classed as racial abuse in relation to his ethnicity. Don't get me wrong I don't agree with racial abuse but if he had said something along the lines of calling Tim Ream a Yankee ba***ard would he have had the same response.

Don't get me wrong I don't agree with racial abuse but if he had said something along the lines of calling Tim Ream a Yankee ba***ard would he have had the same response. good pt re Tim Ream. . & is Scottish now a race ?? if so what are the characteristics of that race...red hair ?? if so that's a bit stereo-typical as most don't have that. is Scouse a race ?? it's getting so "thought-police'ish" they may as well publish a list off acceptable insults and non-acceptable ones in advance of every season. football has always been a place for banter & joshing, most of it stays right side of the line. and i agree with clamping down on those who go o.t.t. / plain nasty with it , but that middle ground ain't half getting confusing . that line or song re cyl.."he shoots, he scores, he eats labradors " . i've heard it sung at the ground, and i've seen it on facebook offered as a gag etc, it could easily be deemed racist, are those people gonna be arrested too ?? it always made me smile re the evra & rio racist incidents that they get called.." effin black b's or c's" and the only word they object to is the black !!. er..hello !?. so in other words you could have gone up to them, and deliberately picked on them 200 times a game calling them effin b's or c's and that would be perfectly ok. |

Going to a footy ground these days is like going to the MEN Arena or the o2 Arena (or Old Trafford & Anfield)...
You get shoved to your seat, you cant speak, your not allowed to holler or jeer, you cant hold a banner up, unless its Justice for the 96 or a flag with an image of Bob Paisley or Bill Shankly or Matt Busby...
It's all auditorium shit these days, oh, and you must pay through the nose for a Cola or burger or pint (if you can call it a pint!!)

Going to a footy ground these days is like going to the MEN Arena or the o2 Arena (or Old Trafford & Anfield)... You get shoved to your seat, you cant speak, your not allowed to holler or jeer, you cant hold a banner up, unless its Justice for the 96 or a flag with an image of Bob Paisley or Bill Shankly or Matt Busby... It's all auditorium shit these days, oh, and you must pay through the nose for a Cola or burger or pint (if you can call it a pint!!)
