It seems to me west and lower that for the most part we are as one. And on the evidence of that game I cannot do other than seek a plate for Salome aka Joanna. Sadly she is right re most points. To boot 5 hrs on the train back whilst a man with a spanner was summoned as a high tech response to rail network breakdown has done nothing to improve my humour. Would that someone at BWFC had a spanner! Ooohh!!network rail the only organisation in the world that will have a 18 week project programme with 22weeks allocated in the design!!!!and still the rest of the globe speaks about the reliability of the British rail network!!!

Yes, this is all too awful to bear. How is it possible to rid the club of players that were considered deadwood, and replace them with even worse ones?! Andrews, Sordell, Eagles, Ngog and even Zat were, it turns out, preferable to this shower of slow, talentless, passionless, skill-less bunch. They can't even pass and move. The tactics do not suit. Players are recruited without regard for any overall plan. Those listed above did intermittently shine; Eagles, especially, had games where he ran excitingly at defenders and scored goals, but somehow this management team slowly made him worse. Used properly, Ngog had something to offer, but he was never a striker! The others had the confidence drained out of them due to Dougie's inspired masterplan: play well and you're omitted for the next game! Rotate illogically for no good reason. Genius! They were never given a sustained run in the side. BSA showed how to manage: he got the best out of everyone, even loose cannons like Dioufy, by humouring him and having little side-bets with him, by putting his arm round him and (yes,Dougie) by actually COMMUNICATING with him! He turned average players into good ones, and good ones into outstanding ones. He found the best positions for effectiveness, turning Gardner, for example, from natural winger to outstanding, attacking full-back. He turned SKD from overweight lumberer to an international and the lynchpin of the side, who could play target man OR on the wing. Pedersen, Ngotty etc etc etc all transformed by good management. DF makes players worse: by example and by policy, he strips the squad of passion and of confidence. Skill levels have plummeted. Players with talent are in decline: Ream will be the next one to fall by the wayside by being played at fullback instead of midfield where was highly promising. The huge talent of CYL is being wasted. His expensively assembled coaching team appear to be doing nothing positive. We couldn't have done worse by giving Phillips and co. a fair crack of the whip. It certainly would have been cheaper and a damn sight more entertaining! It will only be the other championship clubs in crisis that save us from relegation this season. But there comes a time when you look at yourself in the mirror, Dougie, and decide that you cannot do the job and that the honourable thing to do is resign before you consign a famous old club to the dustbin. Dougie, that time is NOW. Absolutely brilliant Joanna, agree with every word, if only Freedman had the decency to do the honourable thing by admitting he isn't up to it. Sadly he doesn't so he's going to have to be shoved. Won't be yet, too expensive but around Christmas the severance payment will be low enough to bin Freedman and his bunch of cronies. The real question is has ED got the balls to get rid of Slimeside??

I wonder if other managers big up Bolton before they play us the same way freedman does every team we play. Still only 7 more games to suffer then they must sack this w***** I hope.

Why would they chips? Any team in this division could beat us, so they don't need to big us up. Freedman bigs up the opposition because it's his ready made excuse when we lose.

Against Forrest we were not second best and could have beaten them if Cravies had scored the header.
Against Boro again we did not deserve to lose, upto them scoring their second goal we were the better team and had a couple of chances to go in front, once they went into the lead we panicked a bit and went long ball. With the score at 2-1 we still had chances to level and even get in front.
Notts Forrest are now top of the league and Middlesbrough are 8th. What's the difference between us and them? Whilst I don't rate Dougie, he has not spent a penny so far, is it because Gartside won't give him any money? or has he not seen anybody he wants? I suspect the former.
Both Forrest and Boro have bought strikers, Assambalonga £5.5mill, Kike £3mill both these players have won games and points for the clubs all ready. We have signed, on loan, a young 4th choice striker (Mason) from a team in the same league as us, he played well on Saturday and scored, last night he played ok but could'nt find the net, surely this is all we can expect from a player of his age and development. We could'nt afford the Juke at £1.5 so you get what you pay for.
When we were in the Prem, many times we could have won but could'nt get a goal when on top, and ended up losing. We are now in exactly the same position but in a lower league. I think it may get worse before it gets better

Against Boro again we did not deserve to lose, up to them scoring their second goal we were the better team Where you actually at the game, have you see the stats for this game?
11 Total Shots 19
1 Shots on Target 6
70% Pass Success 83%
65% Aerial Success 35%
2 Dribbles 5
16 Tackles 10
38% Possession 62%
and had a couple of chances to go in front, once they went into the lead we panicked a bit and went long ball. We had been playing long ball for the vast majority of the game. Bogdan made 30 passes, 29 of which were long balls and only 10 of them were acurate so 2/3rds of his passes went to the opposition and came straight back at us. Matt Mills made 42 passes 15 of which were long balls of which only 3 went to one of our playersNotts Forrest are now top of the league and Middlesbrough are 8th. What's the difference between us and them? 21 and 14 places respectively
Whilst I don't rate Dougie, you're not the only onehe has not spent a penny so far, so he didn't buy Beckford for £1m, or Cravies for £500k (and he's been trying to get rid of him for the best part of 12 months) or Hall for £350k + additions for appearances made (and he's probably going to be going out on loan because of Ibe coming in) or what about the wages of the myriad of loan players he has brought in, some because he steadfastly refused to play certain high wage earners, who still got paid. I'll admit it's small potatoes but don't say he has spent nothing is it because Gartside won't give him any money? I wouldn't be giving him any more money either on the evidence of the rag, tag and bobbins he has brought in already
or has he not seen anybody he wants? well he must be running out of possibilities now at Crystal Palace, Millwall, Leicester and Cardiff
We have signed, on loan, a young 4th choice striker (Mason) from a team in the same league as us, he played well on Saturday he played ok on saturday, he didn't rip up any treesand scored, last night he played ok against 'Boro he was more or less anonymous (22 touches of the ball made 1 key pass and 13 others and 1 shot which was off target)surely this is all we can expect from a player of his age and development. well if that's all we can expect maybe we should have left him at Cardiff and put a bit of faith in OUR youth that DF is always going on about e.g. Kellett (who scored 2 against Newcastle U18 midweek, or Clough who DF was lauding in Jan 2012)I think it may get worse before it gets better That's about the only statement you made that I can agree with and believe me it's going to get a lot worse under this useless no mark. How many more records is he going to break before we get rid, last season's finish was our worst league position in the last 20 years.

does he actually wonder why?
