Dinner time kick off
Was that 5-1 bruising v Arsenal a shape of things to come at Crawley?? With Evatt in charge, anything’s possible
We’ve only played them 3 times in my lifetime Think they dumped us out of a cup years ago and they beet us at the ReeMac before we straggled over the promotion line with a 4-1 victory at their place
Small pitch, Ian Evatt!!!
This has all the hallmarks of an away defeat
Sorry, I’ve no confidence in this chap any longer Is he still here🤔

Good afternoon everyone I won’t get to watch the game tomorrow as I’m in Edinburgh for my birthday weekend but will check the score. 🤞for a win without any more injuries I’m not going to get into the Ian debate until Christmas as I do believe as far as Sharon and the board are concerned he walks on water and if by any chance we are up there at Christmas I will believe it. 1-3 COYWM

I'd get to Arthur's seat and ignore the match. Crawley won't be anywhere near as open as Reading. As I said, I don't think we could have hand picked a better game. They play into our hands like no other teams. Open and a soft. And with the takeover collapse low on mood too.
We'd be foolish, in my opinion, to at this point register Matheson to give us the option of putting JDC at RCB. We have 3 fit Centre backs. One we have to manage back. One is having a shocking start and seems both low on morale, confidence and hunger. And Toal who is always prone to a knock.
We won't veer from 532 so waiting on a free transfers at this point is stupid. You can guarantee any free agent will a.) Take time to get up to speed and b.) Will break down within 2 matches.
Is Mattheson the Rochdale Cafu? No. Can he fill a gap for a few weeks and hope we can get Jones, TuTu back? I'd like to think so. I can't see how he's not the best option at this point.

Anyone know why this match is kicking off at 12-30, and can it be viewed anywhere ? It’s on SkySports + Kenglo but if you don’t subscribe you may be able to see it on a Now TV pass. Really angry that they ditched WanderersxTV for this but clearly money talked as is usually the way with Sky. Happy Birthday Chip and enjoy Edinburgh the land of my Father. Well Dunfermline actually but close enough. If there’s a better City in the U.K. than Edinburgh I’ve not seen it so enjoy your weekend and as Rioch says hope the lads win for you? 🥳🍾

Not a very relaxing watch, but three points. Crawley had all the possession ( that Darcy looks a useful player!) but had no threat.
Early on we looked the more likely. Adeboyejo had a turn and shot. Dempsey scored the 'Sheringham'corner goal. Charles forced an excellent finger tip save.
The game was of Div 2 standard really for much of it. We sorely need a ball carrier. All too often we gave the ball away with poor passing.Hence Crawley's 70% plus possession stats for much of the game
Dacres-Cogley was marginally improved, Schon did quite well,so at least we had a wide threat. Dempsey was perhaps the pick of the team, doing what he does and he was really unlucky to hit the bar(saved?) just before the interval.
The second half went much as the first. Santos had a day when he got something on most things. Some weird headed and booted clearances going all over the place. It should though be noted that he got a header on target, not previously seen.Baxter handled well and kicked most of the time- he gives me the shakes in possession.
In the end our subs changed things. Admirable persistence from Schon allowed Collins to set McAtee for a thumping shot, quite unexpected and the rest of it was fairly plain sailing.
The victory did little to disguise our obvious failings and tactical confusion. But it did underline our relative squad depth. Adeboyejo was flat today and earned both himself and Thomason a booking
Baxter 6 Dacres Cogley 6 Santos 6 Toal6 Johnston 7 Schon 7 Thomason 6 Charles7 Adeboyejo 5 Sheehan 6 Dempsey 8

It’s not difficult really
Neil Critchley couldn’t buy a win with the players he had, step up one of those ‘dinosaurs’ Steve Bruce and suddenly
BAM……..
4 wins on the bounce against all the sides that have beaten us
Exeter Charlton Huddersfield
With the same players I hasten to add, so it just shows that the old experienced heads do know a thing or two about one thing - winning
I wouldn’t like to bet on them not winning the league, Bruce is a wiley old fox and also knows what is needed, whereas we have the tired and tested Evatt week in, week out.
Not convinced there’s a change on the horizon at all, our football is insipid, tiresome, boring
Just watching Birmingham v Posh and it’s a proper battle with exciting forward movement from both sides
All I can say about our victory today!!!!! It’s 3 points
