******COVID Enquiry****** *****Horizon Scandal***** ****Wigan beating Bolton last night**** Three unanswered problems of the world today
Always said we are dangerous with the ball
Dangerous to ourselves only!!
ALF Wilbraham Clough Dapo Doyle Sarce, non of these players of recent times would allow someone like Evatt to restrict their talents, they’d instinctively know what to do. Perhaps that’s why the latter few no longer ply their trade with us.
I’ve calmed down a bit now and I do gain some comfort from reading comments here and in the BN, but I’m still gobsmacked we lost that game.
Gobsmacked only because Pathetic were a terrible side, not gobsmacked because we were great and didn’t get the run of the green, absolutely not, because like I say above, we are dangerous with the ball because we don’t know what to do with it.
Opposing manager’s simple team talk when facing BWFC and I’d be very surprised if the Cambridge boss doesn’t use this notion on Saturday,
“Right lads, just let Bolton have the ball. Let them control the pace, they’ll just keep passing themselves to death They won’t shoot, their boss won’t let them do that They are completely awful at corners and set pieces, but more importantly, if you antagonise them, nip at their heels, just enough to avoid a booking, they’ll bite and them yellows will soon stack up Oh, make sure you go for that Thomasson kid as he bites the quickest and don’t forget to smile when you pick the ball up for a throw in when stood next to Evatt, he bites every time”
The fact that our monotonous footballing system has us joint second in this league, whilst extraordinary baffling as that might be to some, it does highlight how poor the teams in this league truly are if our drivel as us so up there

Nothing more to add except. Digging these comments out
"League One does look slightly weaker in the cycle of division. I personally think this could be a good year in League One to be competing at the top end.“
So after saying its a weaker league this year.
Bolton 0 Wigan 4 Reading 2 Bolton 1 Bolton 1 Blackpool 0 Blackpool 4 Bolton 1 Wigan 1 Bolton 0
Maybe another example of keeping some thoughts in house. I don't disagree with Ian by the way this is a huge chance. Next season Wigan and Reading will be back God knows what thier ownership will be like. The Wrexham project could gather momentum. Stockport I believe are well backed now. And the three coming down. Rotherham, course and distance, Sheff Weds huge club and the 3rd could be anyone from Plymouth down. Stoke at the moment and they have mega money for L1.
I just don't think there will be any appetite campaign and that's why we might find ourselves in that slump where teams that should kick on just don't.
As for the BN I question whether some fans are Bolton fans or Evatts family members. He could start with Jerome in net and Coleman up front as a lone striker and some fans will say "he takes training, he knows what he's doing"
I really don't know why he can't say to Geth and JDC especially that if they aren't having much luck have a swap for 10. See how it plays out.
I don't get why we're obsessed with not panicking that we'd rather just sleep walk to defeat. Remember Allison's heading a winner and Kompany having a hail Mary shot. Its better to panic and try and salvage a draw than to remain calm and lose.
But you just know Evatts reaction will be 532, keep possession, tire the opponent and the game will open up around 80th minute.
