Anyone know why this game is on a Friday??
The way Boreham Wood turned these over, I expect nothing but a 3-0 victory at the very least. Problem is, we get vertigo past 1 goal BHW’s first goal came from the simplest of corners, I only hope our players and Evatt have taken note

Anyone know why this game is on a Friday?? Because England may play on the 3rd December. Regardless of if you care about the 3 Lions or not would say for policing makes sense to avoid. Wouldnt like to do the trip back to Bristol after the match on Friday to be truthful.

Fair few on the friday too though so can only assume it was clubs choice or police instructed.

Well look on the bright side, whatever the result on Friday, I can enjoy a glass of red on Saturday night for a change. 🥴
Don’t know what to think about 5he match though? It’s another that we should win but we always seem to slip up. I’m going to be bold and suggest we might put our blues behind us and scrape a win 2-1.

I’m really hoping that this World Cup inspires our players to put in a ‘Japan’ performance against that piece of scums Bristol Rovers (can’t stand Barton)
Alas, I’m fearing a ‘Belgium’….. plenty huff n puff with no end product Hope I’m wrong

Will be a difficult match this one.
I watched Bristol on Sky away to Sheff Wed and they should have won that game. They went a goal down but kept attacking, equalised and but for a good save from Wednesday’s keeper near the end would have won it.
None of us ever know our starting line up these days.
Other than Trafford, Bradley, Jones and Santos the other 7 positions are up for grabs.
I expect Williams to retain the defensive midfield position and Morley and Afolayan certainly deserve starting spots. Lee would always start for me too.
I still would like to see Bodvarsson and Charles start together but who knows?
Anyway, as I say, a difficult match but I’ll go for a 2-1 win.

I'm staying at the Reebok tonight as I don't drive on nights if I can help it, I'm not sure about tonight as it's got home win all over it, but I thought that about Oxford, but the team just didn't bother to turn up fingers crossed we win, and I can enjoy a pint in the bar onwards and upwards COYWM

Lucky you chip, have a good night irrespective of the result. Like you I think this is one we should be winning but sometimes the team never seems to turn up. If we go at Bristol and don’t get caught in the usual slowly slowly sideways and back mentality we should be ok but Bristol are a dangerous side going forward and we have to be careful whatever we do. I’d also like to see Charles and Bod start up top but I have a fear it will be the usual Charles Kachunga pairing which has been so successful!! 🥴 What will be interesting is whether John, Iredale or Beck start at LWB. If John doesn’t start tonight and isn’t even on the bench then I really do think it confirms he’ll be off in January and probably the same goes for Aimson if Toal is on the bench in front of him. Obviously there’s no Dempsey through injury so how is the midfield going to set up. MJ, Thomson, Morley and Sheehan all have a shout in there and if he starts Lee in the ten role it means no Dapo or Sads to start either. I honestly wouldn’t want to be IE right now deciding who to leave out because on current form all of them could claim a place. On that basis I won’t even try to name an eleven but surely with that lot to choose from we should be too strong for Bristol whoever he picks? I’ll stay positive 5hen and go for a 2-1 win to Wanderers.

Kachunga again. Lets hope he can show off some pressing skills.
Not impressing but pressing.
Sadlier really not do enough against Fleetwood. Does evatt think we just forgot that?
No santos so do think they should have played Mj.
Some wrong choices but expect nothing else these days.
