Just got home we didn't bother with Blackpool just went shopping a win is a win onwards and upwards stay safe one ad all COYWM No Blackpool for us either chip, the weather was awful here, windy and wet and forecast to be the same there, certainly not the weather for walking along the front through the lights, so we’ll go another day. Listened to the match on Nuts radio instead and talk about nibbled finger nails? Still at least we won even if we did make “heavy weather” (forgive the pun!) of it. Yesterday was much better so for Ava’s actual birthday we took her and our other two granddaughters to Cleethorpes and had a cracking day, arcades, walk along the prom and fish chips at Papa’s, so all turned out well. Im sure tiredness did have something to do with our lack lustre performance though because so many seemed off the pace. In fairness it has been pretty much the same side all season to date with just one or two changes, so hopefully now Baka is fit again and Xav will be back shortly, we should have better options to rest people. I suppose we shouldn’t complain too much, we’re doing so well overall and we have to keep faith with IE. Saturday is a home game for me, assuming it is Saturday with the possibility of it being on Sky, so any change at a late date won’t affect me much unlike people travelling from Bolton. It seems crazy that it can’t be confirmed earlier but I suppose Sky don’t give a fig about the fans, which is one reason I’ll never subscribe to it. Anyway, I fancy us for another win at Hillsborough so I’ll go for an early prediction of 1-2 to the Whites.

Whites i dont believe were considered for the live game as they have Forest Green and talksport have us as live comms on Saturday.
Not much to say about the win really. At 2-0 I did think it could be one of those special days but the distance weve done, the games were in and our style of 70% possession football will always feel a bit of fatigue(criticism of Bielsa was his team fades because he works them so hard and Evatt said hes used his training murderball tactics and we dont even have the resources. We've got a lone striker for now)
Just glad the Santos error was not important. Still dont know if there wasnt a more common sense restart like a drop ball. I guess rules is rules, ref was right and that should teach us the importance of killing a game off rather than park the bus at 1-0 as we did for most of the second half of last season.

Nobody to blame for that goal but Rico. He’d won the ball back anyway and despite the linesman’s flag there was no need to stop play to take a quick free kick as he did. Surely running the clock down he should have taken his time anyway but even so, you play to the whistle and he didn’t. Actually I’m not soo worried about the goal just that he now has 4 yellow cards and we could lose him for important games along with MJ, then what do we do?
