Ha ha, short and sweet again rftr and I’m afraid I can’t disagree with you. Not going to be there tomorrow as I’m away with the boss for the weekend in Basingstoke so at least I won’t have the pain of driving back over the hill chunterring. I’m sorry to say that I just don’t know where the next wins going to come from, can’t score, can’t defend and nothing in between. I look at the team and where they’ve been in their career and just can’t accept that they can’t perform at this level so either they don’t want to or they’re being badly coached? Maybe tomorrow will be the day it turns around, we have played better than under Parky to be fair but have been unlucky in some games. Confidence is a fragile thing but it can quickly recover if you just get the run of the ball a few times. We haven’t so far so maybe the worst of times (7-1) can become the best of times? Let’s hope so anyway. ;-))

I said a few weeks back theres not a fixture in this league i dont think we couldnt win. Thats based on nothing much I know but still think if you cant believe you cannot beat Accrington at home then its curtains.
I do think we will beat them today. Think we need to. Often heard fans, not just ours say, loss wont be bad as it will force the issue or i want us to lose so he gets sacked. I still dont think were there yet and think a win, a good win would be just the tonic for Hill.
Read his words after Blackpool and then listened to it (jack dearden, wanderers podcast) and couldnt believe it. Tone of his voice was desperation personified. Sounded like a man with no come back desperately scrambling for the right thing to say and wallowing in self pity.
I dont believe hes the right man. If FV share that view its time they put the man out of his misery but if Hill wants to stay then he and his players need to come out fighting.
No lethargic dire 1st halfs, no waiting to go a goal down, no shirking. Straight from the whistle.
Bolton 3 Accy 1.

Agree with all of that OM but the problem is when you’ve tried everything you know as KH has, you get desperate and look to blame others. He dearly wants to be a success, this is the pinnacle for him and though he wasn’t my choice I’d still like him to be. That problem is I just don’t see it. Confidence is fragile and I think both his and the players in each other is low. Instead of going through the mill, bound down by instructions, just tell them to go out, enjoy it and be positive from the first whistle. Forget what you’ve done wrong or mistakes you’ve made and prove you’re good players. I genuinely believe that’s all it will take to get that 3-1 win.

Like a few others, I believe that the squad we have is capable of getting more positive results than negative ones but I just can’t be confident about any performances or results these days.
We have played a number of bang average teams recently and performed terribly.
So today, I don’t know.
I went to the Accrington 7-1 humiliation and if the players felt anything like I felt after that match, they should be well motivated.
Accrington are a reasonable side and their 3-0 defeat at Oxford was apparently unlucky.
We just need to be positive from the outset, get players into attacking positions and pretend that our defenders can defend.
Who knows what the score will be but, optimistic (deluded?) as ever, I will go for 2-1 win.

Some optimistic predictions for this game. I have to follow Rioch on this, with defeat being the only outcome. I don't see things changing overnight, as it were. As whites normally says, "I hope I'm wrong" and I really do. Not just for the club, but for the long suffering fans.

0-0 halftime to be honest not a bad half we had quite a few chances that with a bit of luck could have scored, we have limited them to some half chances but other than that not a bad game up to halftime COYWM
