Nothing like an international break to make you look forward to what is possibly the two worst teams playing it out.
The way I see it. We are going into the next section of the league. Clean slate almost. Season starts again now.
Yes first 6 games were great(points tally yea but we were also getting two goals most games which helps) last 6 has been awful. Truly awful.
Parky has always ever been three games from redemption for me. He has three winnable games Rotherham, Forest and Hull both at home. If he plays some decent stuff, may be even bring Politic or Earing off the bench and get a role for Doidge then he can really stake a claim to keep this job for the season.
However serious doubts. He's probably terrifying the players telling them stories of how good Proccy is and we need to keep 3 men on him at all times.
I think we take 5 or less points from this coming week(3 games) and he has to go!
At the start if you ask me one team we simply Have to be better than to stand a chance it's Rotherham!
I'm thinking 3-1 win tomorrow though.

Not expecting anything to change performance wise so its a 3-0 defeat with very little possession. Lets hope theres some truth in the reports that Reading want Parkinson !!!

I can't see Reading going for it personally but that's just me thoughts.
One thing I forgot to say is that i would like to see Josh Vela back in the team and I don't mean that as in warranted rather than fans favourite.
He's been ousted by a combination of younger player in Williams and ancient in O'Neil and Lowe....At this time in his career he should be in his prime, busting a gut to win his place back and start to finally kick on in a way that's never really happened.

I can't see Reading going for it either OM, much as I'd love them to. I'll be making my way to the New York Stadium tomorrow, being a "home" game and all and I honestly don't know what to expect. I imagine it will be the same old but I'm really hoping that with Anderson claiming that he "expects" a mid table finish having allowed Parky some extra cash for his latest signings it prompts him to be a bit more positive in his set up and possibly even two up top. Of course I stand to be disappointed and even embarrassed in front of my Rotherham pals but you never know, they might surprise me and pull off a result. Fingers crossed anyway.

Well, we haven't won at Rotherham since Adam was a lad, but by the same token we hadn't beaten Derby for years too. So, I think it's another turnaround in the results for us and we will come away with three points.

Whites, I'll be at the New York as part of a family visit. I've seen Rotherham a couple of times and whilst they are always likely to struggle in the Championship they do seem to give it a go...in their 0-0 draw with Bristol City they had 21 efforts on goal, 6 on target, but lacked that cutting edge in the box. My instincts are that a negative approach by P.P. should not be necessary, given the advantage his squad has in terms of Championship experience and supposed 'pedigree', and although they too managed to beat Derby 1-0 at home that was 6 games ago and they haven't won since. As regards the possible outcome today, I would suggest that an away win should be eminently achievable, but whilst Rotherham have suffered greatly with injuries recently they have won 3 and drawn 2 of their home league games and beat Wigan in the league Cup, so not a straightforward game to predict for me.... an away point could viewed as a decent result given those stats and history is not on our side, but a strong performance from the Whites might just invoke the spirit of Henry Ford, and prove that History is indeed 'more or less bunk'.... let's hope so!

Enjoy the visit and match dad, like you I hope for a positive performance and 3 points, though like yourself would consider a draw as a decent result. We should though be seeing Rotherham as the kind of place we should be looking for 3 points. I think the reference to how long it's been since we won there is largely irrelevant since for most of that time we've been in different divisions so if we are seriously looking at a higher finish we must see Rotherham, home or away, as a team we should beat. Unfortunately we have said that so many times under Parkinson's tenure and yet he continues to see every game as don't lose rather than let's win. I don't see him changing and for that reason, I think a draw is the best we'll get but in honesty I fear a Rotherham win, probably 2-0. At least it's a short journey home from here!!

I really hope we play a more open and attacking game with 2 up front and try and win the game. Like 63 I was planning on going today as it's round the corner from me but alas duty calls and it's my Saturday to work the afternoon shift but it leaves me free for next Saturday at home to Hull. I will be waiting patiently for an honest assessment of the game from 63 which will decide weather to go next Saturday against Hull or not. As for the score I'm torn between past history and Mr (more negative than Megson), Parky so sorry it could be 2-1 defeat BUT and I hope with better football. COYWM prove me and 63 wrong with a win.

Like you Chip I'm hoping for two up top. With Buckley out it's a perfect opportunity to play Dyer as an overlapping LB and replace him with Doidge or Donaldson. With Williams and Oz behind them we would surely be too strong for Rotherham. How long is it since we actually saw our players actually running at and through a team's defence? Come on Parky, I want to be proud of the lads today so let's have a go at them and bring home a deserved 3 points to push us back up the table.

Come on Ken. Let's talk basic maths. What's the cost of sacking Parky? Is it near the £30M Mark? Because this guy is dwindling attendances and taking is down.
Any investors will see that and this will cost.
It's easier to destroy to create and Parky only knows how to do the first and he can be replaced with any mug because his methods are basic beyond belief.

Well let's put it this way Chip, after that performance today I won't be joining you if you do go against Hull. I think that's probably the most mind numbing example of non football I've yet seen, even from Parky. When I saw two up front I genuinely hoped it would be different but actually it was worse. With both Magennis and Donaldson up front it was nothing more than an aerial bombardment and it was entirely intentional. There was not even one spell in the game where they even tried to play football and we gian no momentum to excite the large away support. They tried but it's really difficult to support it. The only genuine bit of quality from us in the game was the Doidge goal. He didn't even think about it, just a natural finish of a true goalscorer. Excellent and let's hope we see more of him, but not as part of an up and under contest. I really do despair of Parky, today was just atrocious. The guys I was with never believed me when I told them how bad it was but by half time they understood fully. In fact they all agreed we were the worst team they'd see this season and fully understand why I've stopped going. They would too if that was all they saw. Parky yet again sees a different game but let me tell you Chip, we were never in that today and certainly didn't deserve a point. Rotherham are poor but they try to play football and in Taylor on the wing and big Smith up top, they may just stay up under Paul Warne who I rate highly. Little or no money to spend but at least produces something resembling football which our numpty never does. I was actually sat about ten feet from him in his area today and could easily have conversed but to be honest I just couldn't be bothered, it would change nothing.
