As I,ve said all season I thought we had enough to survive. This result will sap any confidence we had. I,ve thought for a while that Parky had lost the dressing room and I think today has proved it. Theres nothing to lose now if we sack him cos I think we are going down with him in charge..

Theres nothing to lose now if we sack him cos I think we are going down with him in charge.. & he somehow got us promoted from League 1 through a lot of unbelievable luck and that’s why Ken will keep him on, but the luck will not return next season as the players are a damn site worse. Just watching Cardiff v Forest and although a goal down, Forest are always pushing on in attack. We will not beat these at home and Burton do something that we don’t and that’s score goals so that’s another game we’ll lose. We had an unlikely 6 point advantage at one point and now look at us, we’re on the brink of following Sunderland into L1 and it’s all Phil Parkinson’s fault. I bet Zach Clough and Tyler Walker can’t wait to get back to Forest at least they still be Championship players!! We’re going to hear nothing but the sale of Gary Madine in the coming weeks and that we’d still be in the Championship had he stayed so hold on to your hat Ken as the ride is about to get very bumpy for you!!

Totally outclassed, after a reasonable start, but the lack of ability to take the few chances created. This was not the nail in the coffin, that happened long ago against Barnsley, Burton, Birmingham etc. PP does not inspire confidence, in spite of Jimmy Wagg, Mark Iles and Jack Deardon praising him for what he has achieved. To me, constant shuffling of teams and set up does not motivate players, especially when dropped after a good performance. Both Forrest and Burton are on a high, so unfortunately back to League One seems inevitable. Sad.

I’ve just watched (suffered) the extended highlights and I have to say that I have never seen four softer goals given away in one game. I too heard Henshaw’s comment on Beevers, but the same could be said for pretty much the whole team. They are for sure not playing for Parky, the club or their own pride. To me it looks like get relegated and get out seems to be the plan. I would seriously consider putting Lee & Kelly in charge for the last two games and let them pick and drop who they want. With the current approach, we are as good as down.

I feel like a Doncaster Rovers fan going into these last two games!!! By that I mean, there they are, the fans I mean, sat in the away end at Leicester with Bolton beating Birmingham 2-0 and they’re all in party mood ‘we are staying up’ then suddenly BANG..... Leicester score and the Brum pull 2 back and it’s curtains There’s a lot of permutations going into the last 2 games but under Parkinson, us fans are fairly certain that with the way he sets his teams up, we cannot have a say in a situation in which we should really be in total control, win 2 games and we must surely stay up!!! That cannot happen and will not happen due to PP and PP alone. I would nearly put my mortgage on David Lee and Tony Kelly pulling them two wins out of the hat but have absolutely no confidence in Parkinson doing it If we go into the Forest game with our destiny in our hands, that will be the biggest surprise under Parky. Burton will beat us and that will be that. Might have been Mark Twain or Henry Ford that said it “If you always do what you’ve always done you’ll always get what you’ve always got” but Parky certainly exercised it Ah well C`est la vie

I've probably become immune to the situation now, in that although I want us to stay up, obviously, I really don't care if we do go down because I've resigned myself to us doing that. Anderson's pathetic piece in the BM yesterday calling for the "Bolton Family" to stick together and it's not the time for pointing fingers just makes it worse. How he can not see that the players have given up, many fans have given up and even Parky looks to have had enough, is beyond belief but then I don't think even he cares because he'll hopefully sell up and move on whatever happens. It's all so sad and avoidable because it could have been so different if Anderson had acted earlier because it's been so obvious for months at least, that Parky's struggling. It's clearly all down to finance and he just isn't prepared to upset his plan of ditching the club and running off with his swag at the end of the season, wherever we finish. Everybody knows from his background that he is a disreputable and dishonest character so we shouldn't lose sight of that. In a way I feel sorry for Parky, he's a really nice guy, honest and hard working but it doesn't make up for his obvious lack of ability to manage at this level. He must know that himself and is now surely just going through the motions. He's tried every player formation, must have said everything he can think of in his team talks and some players must resent him for not playing them more despite playing well. No one comes to mind recently who must have been gutted not to start against Wolves. There comes a point when you just switch off and stop listening and I think we've reached, even passed, that point and surely a new voice in the dressing room for the last few games could have helped. Sadly under this owner that isn't happening and I've now resigned myself to our losing both remaining games and slipping back into Division one for next year. Hopefully both Ken and Parky will move on and we can start to recover under new ownership but if that doesn't happen, I for one will just find alternative entertainment to occupy my Saturdays.

Very true W63 and a great post Can’t believe I’m saying this but did anyone notice Gary Madine on the subs bench and Warnock choose to bring someone else on rather than him!! Warnock clearly raves about Madine in the press but he’s hardly been a £6 Million Dollar man has he? That said, we might have scraped at least one more win, maybe at Barnsley, had he stayed with us and that will no doubt prove the difference in the end. Kamikaze ownership and a manager that uses ‘guess work’ to ascertain his ‘best’ formation and tactics. Tried to get into the mood last night by watching the Bristol City and Tranmere games at Wembley, how much of a glutten for punishment do I need!!! Well I might as well because that’s the only way I can see things going from here on in. The Torquay video from Dave Higson is absolutely priceless, especially when he interviews ‘Kim’ on the train down to Wembley😂😂😂 one word from Mr Higson and I’m smiling
