Parky should show the team the video of the 2014 game at Elland road. Goal after goal and we finally left ecstatic with a 1-5 win. One of my favourite games of the recent era. So glad that I went.
They will be there for the taking but my fear is the goals just aren't coming. The youngsters just always look as if they are going to score but I don't get that feeling with the first team. I cannot attend this one but I am sure the 2,500 will spur them on to another win.

Before the Villa game I would have taken 2 points from Villa & Leeds so we are 1 point up on what I had us at so the Leeds game is a bonus game. The Birmingham, Barnsley & Burton games are the big ones for me, they have to be must not lose games so ain't to bothered about Leeds other than getting 1 up on the Yorkshire lot. 2-2 COYWM PS Keep fighting your corner 63 on the BEN site

We have to take something from this game in my opinion. The teams around us will be fighting to the death and will give us more of a problem than Leeds will, so it would be added bonus to pick something up at Elland Rd So I’m going for a 1-1 draw and Heckinbottom to get the push 😬

There are some very easy to wind up individuals on the BN site as I'm sure you know. As for tomorrow, I'm not going either but I hope we win for the 2,500 diehards going. They'll be totally outnumbered, especially with it being the 20th anniversary of their Stansted plane crash but their form is abysmal at the moment and I'm hoping a big crowd just might work against them as they're sure to get on the players backs if we can frustrate them. Hopefully Parky will keep the same team format and if we can just take one or two of the chances that will come our way, we may just nick the 3 points. How good would that be for our own big crowd on Tuesday?

Like you 63 I tend to say what I see and yes its not every ones opinion only mine but people don't need to comment on it right or wrong all we want as fans is the same thing the team to do well. At the moment I can't afford to get to games but I am hoping to get to Birmingham and Derby away.

For me a very average game, from which neither team emerge with much credit. In the end, it was settled by three catastrophic individual and one collective mistake by Bolton. The collective blunder gifted them the first, early goal and settled them for much of the first half. Their second was again a gift, courtesy of Taylor’s pathetic positioning (in fact he was poor all game) and Alnwick’s feeble parry. The final ,blunder was from Buckley ( really, what is he for?) when he headed wide when it was far easier to score. Leeds were on the ropes then, thanks to ALF’s poacher’s goal and, had the hapless winger scored, I do believe they’d have collapsed. As it is, they rode the game out with ease.
Too many off song performances today . Ameobi gave it away far too much, Kirchhoff looked like he wished he was elsewhere, Vela took a couple of steps back performance wise, the centre of our defence looked none too secure. Derik, I thought was the pick of our bunch.
We need to regroup for Tuesday. Let’s hope that’s the poor performance gone and the rest of the season will see us play more to our capabilities.

I think you're being a bit unfair to Parky this time rftr. I wasn't at the game and it did seem like we were poor but I was pretty happy with the team and formation he put out. I also don't think he had much option to change things. We just don't have an impact sub and neither Zach in his current state, nor Wilbraham are likely to save our bacon, as they proved again today. I suppose we're back to whether it would be better to give young Hall a chance for the last fifteen minutes or so instead but obviously that's not been in his thinking so far. For once I lay the blame more with the players than Parky but obviously I'd better wait for those who did attend to give us a more insightful analysis of the performance. That said, I believe Leeds were poor so it's probably another chance for three points missed, whoever was to blame?

Just one comment
As far as I can add up - it is now 17 successive games when we have failed to score more than 1 goal in a match
We won't win many matches scoring only 1 a game
I know we have had some decent 1-0 wins but we must sort out this goal scoring because we can't expect a clean sheet every game

I don't want to go on but what is wrong with us and giving teams a helping hand PP's words we need to silence the crown so what do the players do gift wrap a goal inside 4 minutes and then decide not to shoot on target, then again start of the second half gift wrap them a second. Lets not sugar coat this Leeds have been shxt since Christmas picking up just 8 points from 42 so why the fxck can't we get amongst them and give them something to think about. Don't get me started on Will Brown or fxck sake we are in need of a goal and on comes 38 year old Blind Willy Brown what is up with giving a young lad at least 10 or 15 minutes Ps I'm going to get pissed now and hope we beat Birmingham on Tuesday.
