Don‘t normally comment pre match, but am very worried about today‘s line up. How on earth do we accommodate Henry, Pratley and Derik in the same midfield? I‘m sorry, I just do not see Pratley as an attacking midfielder and for me one of them is too much. I hope I‘m proved wrong, but in the absence of the injured Kirchhoff, I feel normal service will be resumed and there‘ll be no repetition of the ‚total football‘ at Reading ;-) Spot on It was back to dire yet again

Dire, dire game. So many mistakes by both sides. SW were "there for the taking" So now Wilbrahamovic will be Parky's new Madine, first name on the teamsheet with Pratley and we will be back to 100% hoofball aagin. How depressing after seeing a glimmer of light with Kirchoff, playing football at Reading.
Looking forward to watching football again on Monday at the Macron. Development squad in action again and hopefully another chance to see Obasi's skills along with the rest of the youngsters who play FOOTBALL - thanks to David Lee and Zico.

I suppose looking on the bright side... we’re a million miles off doing a West Ham!! WOW... what was all that about? Them Spammer fans are really upset with that 82 year old pensioner putting all his money into them and turning them from a team followed by 30000 fans to a team followed by 56000 fans in a swanky new fantastic stadium in the Prem. I’m eating my own words here by saying be careful what you wish for and by that I mean, here’s me sulking at Parkinson and his managerial style and there were the Wet Spam fans longing for the Bobby Moore style football which they failed to get from BSA, the fans weren’t happy with a regular top 8 finish, they wanted moor(e) - (see what I did there) 😂 they wanted total football played on the turf... and now look at them! All of that said, I won’t chamge my opinion on Parkinson

The Wet Spam fans must be the most pathetic and deluded fans in the league. They once had a few players who deservedly helped win the World Cup for England. Other than that they've been a relatively small club hanging on the coat tails of the big clubs like Spurs, Arsenal and latterly, Chelsea. In fact they're pretty much like us with Utd and City. They have this image of football played in a way they never actually saw andnever will. In fact they're a pretty pathetic bunch all round, as yesterday proved yet again. It's hard not to feel sorry for them in some ways, because they are completely obsessed by something they'll never actually have. That said, I'd really love to see them go down again.

There's definitely a split in opinions with Bolton fans. The happy clappers vs the doom and gloomers. Think West Ham fans show that it's not a Bolton only issue. Some fans want it all.
Why West Ham should expect winning football, easy on the eye and with young players coming through to boot im not sure. At what point will they stop sacking managers and readjust Expectations. James Collins is no Bobby Moore.
That being said I stand firmly behind my plan of giving Parky a nice round of applause, decent bonus if he keeps us up and a glowing reference and then bring in Mark Warburton. Let's start playing the ball on the deck.

Saturday was my first away game since Hull, the first positive of which was that I was able to move to a seat where I could actually sit and enjoy the view. It was an impressive crowd given Wednesday's poor run of form, and as has ben pointed out there were plenty of mistakes on both sides but I thought Bolton were looking the better team when they went behind. I had seen the flag go up early on in the move and anticipated the goal being disallowed, but unfortunately the ref allowed things to stand, very frustrating but it was so far away I couldn't offer an opinion regarding the decision...the highlights showed Rhodes in an offside position, but it's the grey area of interfering with play etc. Other positives from the game were the overall solid play of the back four, especially Burke, Derik's use of the ball and his ability to intercept and stifle opposition play, and Ameobi's capacity to occupy, and run at, defenders...would that his final ball had been more effective. Wednesday did look beatable, even more so when Morais was on the right and Ameobi on the left, and who knows what the result might have been had Clough been brought on, perhaps for Pratley or Henry, and early enough to have a chance to impact on the game. Alf ran and ran, and did his best to unsettle defenders, but the game proved to be something of a missed opportunity really. If relegation is avoided these recent away points can be seen as vital and a vindication of the team selections being set up not to lose, but it seems that Reading was a win for the taking, and Saturday was the same for me. Well done to Wilbraham, the perfect response to the booing...I am not a fan of the hoof to a target man, but he was there to take advantage of Morais great delivery, so well done to him and to Parkinson for using him at the death.
