Said before Parkinson is "damaged goods" think he thought we would be enough for this league with a solid defence and threat from set pieces.
That awful spell at the start knocked his ego, his plan and all his preparations. He got a glimmer of hope in defending at all costs and hoofing the ball up and now sees that as the only we we can play.
He has no trust in the players ability to pass from Player to player. No faith that our players can match a team and no ambition to try and win a game.
If we needed to win a game to survive he would still play with 9 outfield players in one half, 30% possession and another report of "bolton concede after falling to clear their lines"
I too am hopeful that Parky will walk when we sell Madine and we can bring in Warburton or someone else interested in playing football. We've never had a foreign coach and although often disastrous i doubt anyone would come in from the continent and agree that this is how you play football. "Kick it to the big lad" it's Sunday league at best and that's probably an insult to them.

Add to that, watching BSA’s Everton v Spurs and Pochettino must have said to his defenders, just keep an eye out for the hoof ball, put a big lad on Rooney like Vertonghen and watch for this new lad Tosun and that kills off their threat at goal, worked a treat. Strangely enough, Big Sam has had Everton playing some ok stuff on the deck recently but he must have had a change of heart against the Spurs threat by going long all through the game. Probably fearful of Alli Son and Eriksen That’s how Championship managers must view Parkys predictable style of football and makes us easy to pick off. I just wish we could have a change of manager just like all the other relegation threatened sides do in all the other divisions just to see what the different style of football could do to change our luck and move is up the league.

Problem is there's no guarantee that a change in manager will instantly mean we get pushed up the league. Sunderland saw a false start and now look back in trouble. (P.s colemans club record is poor and life is a lot harder without Garth Bale)
I don't want to sound too "Gary Neville" but why don't on training view the goals were conceding, pause and set tr players up and let them then see that no matter how hard we try to clear the lines it will always come back to us. So the shape needs to change!
I would back a manager like Grayson or Warburton and give them all the time they need to turn it round the correct way. No more papering over cracks. Back to basics football the correct way. This is a real start again job.
Appreciate it that the owner will now share this view and happy with paper cracks approach. But How can Parkinson call himself a professional if he has no interest at all on bettering himself, in learning from mistakes and in trying to produce something better than this? I know he's no ambition. He's pleased as punch with a 2-0 defeat and no shots, has he really got no pride in his profession at all? If he did he should walk and without Henry, Pratley and possibly Madine I think the time is right for him to go. His agent could land him another job on the strength of his promotion, we are not in relegation atm. Right time for all parties to part.

I agree with all that OM but we always have to come back to the fact that KA is only here until he can find a buyer and the future benefit of the club is of no concern to him. We are fans, he is not. Parky is cheap, reliable and predictable, doesn't ask for money to spend or make trouble for him and gives the media exactly what suits Ken. Why would he change that when there is still a chance that Parky, despite everything, could just keep us up. Selling Madine or Vela or both could change things but Parkinson is equally under contract to KA so may have to pay a fee himself to get out. The best thing would be for both parties to agree separation but frankly I just don't see it so I think we're stuck with Parkinson whatever that eventually means for us. One thing though is for certain, Parky will not change so welcome to continued hoofball and negativity.
