".......We cannot afford the luxury of carrying anyone who is not giving their all, week in, week out, on the pitch or training ground and knocking on the door to play.
Going through the motions of just turning up for a pay cheque is not acceptable and won’t be tolerated.
The players and the management team are all aware of this and it is now up to them to deliver and repay the support and faith you the supporters have shown in them particularly over the last five months.
There can be no more excuses - every single one of the squad has to go out there, whether it be on the training ground or on a matchday for every single game and give everything they have and a bit more.
They have to want it more than the opposition and ensure that we are a difficult team to beat, home or away, and to try and make sure that we come away from each match with at least a share of the points........"
From the official website 5 hours ago - No mention of winding up order.

Would like to know who he's talking about?
I'm not sure a chairman would witness too much training sessions so he must be going off Parky's reports.

Maybe, just maybe, KA and Parky should read Phil Neville's post on the Beeb website. It goes under the self explanatory heading of ‘Fear of losing is stopping teams going for the win’. It's not a bad read, even though he applies this to the Premier League. IMO, fits our club to a tee. Time for Parky to change tack and get some entertainment for DavidM. www.bbc.com/sport/football/42387906

But from General consensus I would have said that most fans recognise that the effort is there from the players just the skill levels are not what is required OR they see the players having an impossible task with the tactics being as they are. I wouldn't say any of our players are shirkers.
From that Phil Neville piece I think it's very relevant to us but our approach cannot now be 'not to lose' because we need wins. Neville mentions Blackpool attacked teams, got at them and ultimately failed because they weren't good enough but at least they can say they gave it a real go. Can Parky hand on heart say that we've really had a good go at Championship football?

Parky would I'm sure answer yes OM. I'm sure he thinks his style, tactics and systems are suitable to the players he has. There are none so blind as those who will not see, could well be said of Parkinson. The guy is totally wedded to his hoof it up style, always has been and always will be. It's no use expecting him to suddenly see the light and change. Allowing him to bring in players in January won't affect his mantra, so until Anderson realises where the problem really is and stops listening to Parkinson's bullshit we are doomed to continue with what we're getting now. Not a happy New Year to look forward to I'm afraid!!

It's all very well saying he will get rid of the deadwood by putting them on the transfer list but there has to be a willing buyer. Given that HMRC are hovering again I don't think that we can afford to keep on paying another player just to sit around, so this seems to be an empty threat unless he is talking about one of our few saleable assets e.g. MADINE, VELA AND AMEOBI.

I can't fault Ken's argument. Too few players are featuring and contributing. They need to step up and fight for our survival. The last couple of games have been dispiriting. Big Sam once put half the team up for sale including Hierro and what a magnificent response he gave! We need more of that!

Hierro is the best player I have ever seen play for us. Even at his advanced years he would have attracted bids. I stand to be corrected but apart from a few of the current team I still don't see many attracting buyers

Time for Parky to change tack and get some entertainment for DavidM. www.bbc.com/sport/football/42387906Since this quote Jamie Carragher has also thrown his two cents in saying the negativity of the premiership is ruining the league and viewers will switch off. This has caused huge debate which as with Phils comments is relatable. Is football changing? Are fans now more expectant and wanting better or is it just a debate which will be brushed away. Well fan power forced out Pulis at West Brom. They've brought in for me an inferior manager. But who do Swansea look to Serial relegation avoider Pulis? Nope. That Carvalhal who just got sacked in a lower league. Pulis forced to take a job at Boro who now just want points on the board. Listened to TalkSport who questioned Benitez's attitude against Man City. Loved thier comments. "Any one, any manager at Sunday league could set up a team like that. Men behind the ball hoofing it up to the big man on his own up front" Nail on head. Parky could go and we could replace him with anyone because he's not got an original idea or game plan in his head. Whoever the opponent is we're going to sit back, absorb pressure and at the first chance hoof it to Madine. Then repeat. If we're losing we will make the subs on 75, 82 and 86 minutes and not a moment too soon. So if you're still asking who else can we get? Replacing Parky is easy. Anyone can do it. Getting it right means interviewing people with an idea, an ethos and a desire to coach and improve. There must be loads of genuine football people here and abroad who have a passion and just can't get a look in because the same old candidates keep getting another crack at it.

Put yourself in the chairmans shoes for a moment he has agreed to all the signings he must sit through the same 💩 We have to watch from the same players week in week out now don't you think you just might get the manager in and ask him what the hell is going on. Playing the same tried and tested players and tactics game in game out surely it's not just us fans that are getting pissed of with it. Ken needs to act and very soon COYWM.

My big fear Chip is that KA will give Parky one last hurrah in the January window to bring in alternative players, which probably also means the exit for the likes of Josh, Alf, Derik and Karacan, players who actually could have helped our cause. That means almost certain relegation because anything coming in will be worse than those going out. It also means a continuation of the hoof. Of course Parky could pull it off and KA be vindicated. Ken basically doesn't have the funds to sack Parky, even if he wants to, so it looks likely he'll give him that chance unfortunately. Of course a big, bad defeat tomorrow could change things completely. I will be there to see and hope it will be my last sufferance of a Parkinson team.

There are several clubs in financial mess before. None of them have kept the manager just because it's cheaper. When push to comes to shove, heads do roll. Ken is already proved that he will push you to the limit to claim any money's owed to him. I wouldn't be amazed if Ken could get into Parkys ear and make him mutually agree something. Problem is with Parky there's still a glimmer of hope we will survive. It's short term really because we're only going backwards but it's a lick of paint to cover the damage whilst the viewings are being undertaken.
As soon as the real damage starts to show then Parky will go and Ken will bring someone in who can do a job. Probably too late.
