just had an email from Ken. Full of praise for my support and such but ultimately it was a begging letter to spend money so he doesn't have to spend his.
I appreciate Kens ambition. He rolled the dice. He outwitted Dean Holdsworth to get his club and he pulled off some work with FA to get some slack.
He backed Parky and have him the tools to get promotion a reality(no miracle. Just brought in players from the league above) he backed Parky again this year with allowing him to keep the stars of last season. Now he pays for Dervite, Morais, ALF and they don't even get on the bench.
Ultimately though Ken you're gamble was based on selling us in May or January had we been secure in this league. We're not. And the email reads as desperation. Especially with the Holding/arsenal "cash out" deal.
Kens act as Lord Kitchener does not sit well with me. Ultimately if you're going to play on the high rollers table, which is what football ownership is about, then you need to have a bit of rainy day cash.
Well Ken, forecast is grey skies.

Your priviliged I not got e-mail ! I got two actually. I do worry for the long future of the club if the begging letters are starting a.) before jan and b.) without a real reason. Are we expecting an influx of cash anytime soon? If not will we not get an email each and every month.

I got the message OM but I didn't see it as a begging letter. I don't see a problem asking supporters to join things like lifeline and in fairness I think knowing the clubs financial situation as we do, it's not a bad shout at this time of year. I think we know KA either hasn't got the money or won't input the money into the club so it's up to us as supporters to do what we can. It would be great if we can scrape through, Parky can keep us up and Ken has a buyer in the wings, otherwise the future looks bleak. As long term fans I think we've been here before so I suppose it's always going to be up to us to help keep our great club afloat.

Despite your efforts to sound positive whites, I disagree with a few points in your post. You think KA is right in "begging" supporters to fill the coffers whilst he risks none of his own? He stands to make a substantial sum based on his 50 p investment. I for one think he should our ultimate supporter and should be doing more than payday loans, which he has been doing. What interest rate, I don't know, but I'll bet it's a cash cow. At present he is the administrator/guardian of the club. It is Christmas time and you can bet many supporters are wondering whether spending time and money at the Macron is worth it, compared to keeping a cap on household expenditure. I agree that the future looks bleak, if we are relegated, but chin up we may survive yet even with Parky's long ball tactics.
Are you a lifeline member whites? You say you're staying away from the games, for the present.
It was a good post from OM with a bit of humour added to a sad situation.

Reports from the BN that we're back in administration, money owed to parent clubs for loan players and genuinely back in the mire. Spokesman from the club said he won't comment on rumours. But by addressing that they kind of already have otherwise the line would be "utter nonsense".
Been a bad week. After a dismal performance from Boro, which again i distanced myself from because it was inevitable, Parkinson decides to come out and dismiss ALF. Clearly trying to push out the most popular member of the squad. How he can say he doesn't fit the system after the dross he turned out time and again is an insult to the fans and I'm sure when Ken next asks for 10,000 extra fans they will have the answer for him.
Is this where Parkinson unravels?

I think Parkinson's just being honest OM, it's clear Alf doesn't fit into his system of hoofball so there doesn't seem much doubt Alf will be on his way in January, probably along with Josh and possibly Ameobi given our financial situation again. Goodness knows what we'll be left with then. If he considers a 38 year old 6ft crock a better goalscoring option that Alf, or our own young players, then I don't think we have much to look forward to. It's pretty obvious now that KA is going to give Parky one last shot at putting out a team that can somehow keep us up, though I very much doubt it personally. I'm getting to the point now actually where I frankly don't care what happens. When the Chairman can sit back and defend the absolute dross Parky is serving up as football I think the cause is lost. Maybe the once unthinkable liquidation might be the best option after all so we can just start all over again? Not a nice option I accept but others have done it and lived to tell the tale.

You seem a bit confused 63 ?. there is a big difference between liquidation and administration . to start again after liquidation would be a huge task and most certainly take at least 10 years , can you hold your interest that long playing teams like Bacup boro and darwen ?.

Who really does fit in this rigid system though?
Suppose he's only answering questions on ALF is that Marc Isles has to ask the question constantly because we fans are demanding to know where ALF is?
From the players he resigned there's clearly not a place for Morias, Dervite, Karacan, Morias and Le Fondre. From his signings the system doesn't suit Burke, Cullen, No one or Buckley.
Wilbraham was never needed. Darby is too poor for the league. His only really positive bit of business would seem Ameobi back. I wouldn't trust Parky with Monopoly money.
