Well After that humiliating defeat to the Wolves, we now turn to, in my opinion, the first of 3 games which I believe will tell us if we have any chance left of staying up, or if we succumb to the pressures of the Championship and drop back down where Phil Parkinson belongs!! V Barnsley (H) - We simply must take an attack minded 3 points from the Tykes! V Nottm Forest (A) - Anything less than a point will not do V Burton (H) - Something tells me Burton will want this more than us, but it’s another crucial home game which we cannot afford to lose. So to summarise, it has to be 2-1 v Barnsley and a further 4 points from the following two games before we take on almost certain defeat to Cardiff (H) Here’s where you can earn your lucky corn Parky, or do one and let someone else take us down and rebuild us

To be truthful Wolves are a class above us in this division,so altho not happy with that result I did expect it. NOW......lets see if Parky has man management skills and can get some self belief back into the players for the next few games. 6 points MINIMUM from the next 3 games may get us back on track a bit...anything less and its hello Div 1 again. When will he finally see /admit that his way/selections/tactics are not working? Personally I,m getting fed up with him now and may jump on the Parky out band wagon if we dont win Sat !

I think you're right about the importance with these games. Especially the home fixtures against "our mini league".
Think the tally represents:
9 points: Parky to be given the key to the town, an apology from me and Whitesince63 to spend most of Monday morning on the town hall steps eating his hat.
7 points: great return and PP earns his chance to carry on to the end of the season.
6: two wins - game on
5: a win and two draws. Not bad but to stay up we probably need more. Will take it but need more.
4: WLD. In all honesty this is the least we should be asking for and probably the most likely. Win/draw Barnsley/burnley and loss to Forest.
3: three draws would be better for the mini league. But one win and two losses would be poor and I would be expect a new man in charge.
2: pathetic Parky to go.
1 or 0: the abyss. League one. Rubbish xmas. Ken to give up. Liquidation and 9,000 crowds.

You missed a Partridge in a pear tree there OooM😂 Oh and No4, I know it was a typo as it’s been such a long time since we played Burnley😂

If we get 9 points OM I'll apologise to Parky and eat your hat as well. Somehow though I don't think I'll have to. I don't expect any change in Parky's systems, team choice or tactics and fully expect all three teams to have 60-70% possession as usual. He hasn't changed over years so I can't see him deciding to now. That in itself is the reason I want rid of him. He's a lower league manager with no idea how to adapt to life above that. It's the frustration that kills you when you see the same failures being repeated time after time. Anyway, just in case I've got my hat ready but I'm not considering buying a new one to replace it just yet.

I’m not expecting anything spectacular tomorrow.
This is definitely a must-win, if only to raise the spirits among both the players and the supporters.
I don’t expect any significant team changes despite Ken Anderson’s semi dig earlier in the week.
I expect 10 of last weeks team to play with Burke replacing the suspended Wheater and would also expect the usual dull hoofball. I sound really depressed here don't I but this year's awful grind of a season is getting to me. We have a squad capable of a higher placing so please let's show it!
We may pull off a victory – 3 points will obviously be welcome – but please please let’s get some entertainment into our football.

Unfortunately David I can only agree with you on what I expect tomorrow which is extremely disappointing. Like yourself I wish I could be more positive in my outlook but sadly I just can't see a silver lining. I think not winning tomorrow sets the clock running for Parky because I think even KA's patience must only last so long. I just really wish Parky could understand our concerns, look inside himself and try something different. Given the festive season approaching I wish I could play Marley and visit him to make him aware of the pain his system inflicts and encourage him to change to a more positive and expansive approach and make all the supporters like me really get behind him. Also like you David, the really frustrating thing is I actually like Parky and believe he has more than enough in the squad to survive in this division. Sadly, I'm afraid the only 3 spirits that will visit Parky will be in Madine's bottles!!

Ok I am sorry but I don't want to sound like a broken record but it WILL be same old same old defend like mad and try to score with the hoof up front it ain't going to happen we are going down and that's the end of it. I hope you all will still come down to watch us back in the first division cause the football we are dishing out at the moment is wxnk I'm sorry but I have had enough of people saying we were brilliant to win promotion last season get over it. It was 19 games ago we live in the now 2 wins from 19 games 13 points from 57 for fxck sake wake up and smell the 💩 that is being dished out god I am sick of it week in week out how every team that we play are the dogs bollocks and we are all free players man up and grow a pair. 🎅🏻☃️🍺🍺😀

I can't honestly believe that Ken believes that the going rate for 25% possession is £28!
If Ken wants to do things cheap and cheerful way he cannot charge that much. Can you imagine going into a greasy spoon and paying £12.99 for the basic. Beans and toast!

Wouldn't it be refreshing to wake up on match day and wonder which Wanderers will turn up to play, rather than feel as though we were all trapped in the Macron equivalent of Groundhog Day with it's seemingly inevitable prospect of frustration and disappointment... In the spirit of the festive season here are my 12 Dreams of Christmas...the lead up to the final verse is dispensed with in order that I and others do not lose the will to live..... 12,00 home fans cheering, 11 players passing, 10 scores a hat-trick 9 Alf is starting 8 Jem for Pratley 7 Days of smiling 6 Vela volleys 5 Goaaaals scored 4 strong defenders 3 well used subs 2 front men And a master class from P.P.

Well I've just agreed on a new house in Barnsley so will soon be leaving Lincoln behind. I'm anticipating a move around mid Feb next year, which should be just as our new manager hits his stride and I can get to The Macron in an hour instead of 3 to celebrate and support our escape from relegation. Well, you do have to have dreams for the new year don't you? As for today, as much as I'd like to be positive, I'm afraid I'm with you Chip and expect no change in performance or result.
