I'm more angry when we're getting beat 3-2 3-1 2-1 because we're at least somewhere in the game when we're scoring, but at the moment I just feel numb and expect nothing other than defeat.

And don't you just know how desperate our plight is when we are almost 24 hours after the event and not so much of a word from our resident pundits AndyL and davidm😬😬

I didn't go so had to rely on the dreadful Tower FM commentary.
I did comment on the "Parkinson" thread last night and I'll repeat that - I knew once we had conceded that we had lost. A very sad state of affairs.
We seem to have reached a position whereby we celebrate defeat because the players put some effort in! I am amazed and really down about the state we are in.
I am sick of repeating myself but how can we expect to get points when we start a match with no recognised goalscorers on the pitch.
I am sick of the hoofball up to Madine style of play. In fairness to Madine, he is probably one of our best players this season but that is a condemnation of our club rather than praise to him. Madine should not be in our starting line-up as his presence determines our style of play.
Play with 2 proper strikers and play the ball on the ground.

Roy Hodgson used a boxing analogy yesterday which I completely agree with. Saying Palace were like a boxer well beyond the weight they are fighting at. Quite scathing really but least he's honest. With us you could apply that analogy and say at the moment we're not landing a blow on our opponent so we're leaving ourselves wide open to be sucker punched our tactically outscored. We are the the equivalent of a boxer, with his hands up running round the ring trying to avoid shots and having nothing to offer in return.
Ironically read an Amir Khan interview who claimed he was doing well and winning the fight against Canelo before knock out and this reminded me so much of Parkinson's tactics and attitude. Yeah were in the game until they score. Then were completely out of it. Does anyone care that Amir Khan shaded a few rounds before being knocked out cold. Will the records show that. Likewise will anyone at the end of the day say "Bolton were unlucky to get relegated this season with the lowest points tally because i'm sure there may have been an offside before the penalty that time, and when Morais was sent off they were only 1-0 down and still in it."
As someone mentioned Villa were happy to play in 2nd gear. Had that penalty not gone their way can you see them not creating another chance, once they put that away its game over again.

I know we are 5hit and that we would make people turn the telly over, but in the next 20 live SKY games we are being shown once and that’s only because it’s a derby v Preston!!!!
All the darlings of the league including Sheff Utd are in 2 sometimes 3 times. Did KA not hold a big enough begging bowl out? I mean, it’s not like we don’t need the extra revenue now is it🙄🙄

I was going to say that I don't blame Sky as our games tended to be dull but recent Sky games for us have been 2-3 Leeds, 3-0 pboro, 4-1 Oxford, 4-0 Gillingham, 2-0 Bury and Pboro beat us 1-0 in a dull one. Few decent games there. But the season before that Preston Match was a shocker.
