9 goals in 4 first half games and nearly all of them have been down to wxnk defending with three at the back. it proves one thing three at the back does not work in this league give it up Parky please before we are cast adrift with the cannon fodder of this league. Chip I would have 6 at the back and 4 in the middle I'd go for 46 nil nil draws and see if we can stay up with 46 points 😂😂 I hate it when we get beat on a Friday cos there's eff all to look forward to on a Saturday

Lens lack of football knowledge lead him to offer PP a new contract Think you might regret that in the coming weeks Ken cos this man is taking us right back down Out of his depth

I don't know what to say I feel like crying we were playing a team who was supposed to be struggling and we get beat 4-0 it hurts like hell but the bad thing is we can call the manager all we want but what can he do about it? He has no money and no players to get him out of this mess I think I need a drink

From what I have seen up to half time on the live stream, we lack any kind of leadership on the field. Hull started very tentatively and we were in the game until the first, dreadful goal. After that, our heads were down and it was just how many they would score. Let's hope Parky instils some pride for the second half. I know Spearing isn't the world's most gifted player, but he does possess the sort of leadership qualities that we so obviously need right now. No one else seems able to galvanise the team.

A very poor performance by all accounts, BUT let's not get too down
Some of our players played a full game only 3 days ago, you're playing a team that cost millions, that where in the Prem last season and it's on their own ground, it was very unlikely we were going to get even a point from this game
The formation isn't right yet, and Parky knows that, we've got some of our best players missing, Wheater, Vela, Ameobi Lets not start slagging the manager or players yet, fourth from bottom is the best we can hope for at the moment

Anyway that's going to happen a lot this season with Saturday/Tuesday matches often. I put it down to tactical naivety.

I put it down to crap players who are not good enough for this league still a long way to go. The players will get a nice long rest now before our next game.

The formation isn't right yet, and Parky knows that Does he know? Its obvious 3 at the back won't work for us in this league but he keeps to it. How long will it be before he comes up with a new formation?

Just seen the goals.
How slow in thought and effort were we?
Beevers was marking the guy who scored the first but was so slow to react that they scored.
The 2nd goal came from a throw in in their left back position. So they ran more than three quarters of the pitch unchallenged and the one and only Hull man in the box was unmarked to get a header in.
Burke had a 10 yard start on the winger who scored the 3rd goal but was outpaced and Dervite just turned away from him to allow a clear shot.

Having thought about last night's game, I have come to the conclusion that almost nothing is right with the team at the moment. Goalkeeper: definitely exudes anxiety and incompetence. Must be changed immediately - can Turner play for us, given these ridiculous EFL restrictions on young players? If so, get him in! Defence: should be our rock, given last season's performance and the numbers Parky throws at it with his 5-3-2 formation. But too many are visibly uncomfortable in their alloted positions. Morais and Taylor looked much happier in the second half, after the shift to a back four. Dervite inspires no confidence, so dispense with the three centre halves and start with a back four. Midfield: unexpectedly poor. Accepting the injuries to Vela and Ameobi have weakened us, they should be doing better. Pratley, as many say, is more of a hindrance than a help and we desperately need a leader there in the engine room. Could Karacan fill Spearing's boots in that sense? Far too much has been expected of Cullen. With a strong man next to him, he could blossom, but not at the moment. Attack: really woeful. I know Madine did a good job last season, but I cannot stand his 'can't be bothered' body language. He has to fire himself up, or get lost. Would Wilbraham be a more committed team player? Armstrong and Alfie have also disappointed. To be fair to them all, the service has been wretched. Parky has a week off now to learn from the poor start he has made. Let's hope he has the wit to pull off a successful reboot to the season after the international break.

Last night was an uncomfortable watch...I felt deflated when I saw the team sheet, no Derik, I really struggle to understand how a player can give such a commanding performance and yet not be selected for a very difficult away game against a strong attacking team. Karacan's injury was another slice of bad luck, something out of the manager's control, as indeed are the off field problems that continue to hinder the club, and it would be ridiculous to expect anything other than a struggle in the coming months given the evidence of the 5 league games played..the pace of the Championship is causing problems for players who looked solid and capable last season, but valuable away points have been gained at clubs where they might be described as " more gettable". The situation at the club is what it is, and all we can hope is that the manager and coaching staff can find a way of utilising available resources to ensure that the team becomes more competitive, regardless of the standard of opposition...we need to be much more resolute against the so-called stronger teams, and somehow become capable of picking up points with some consistency, particularly at home. Valuable and hard-earned away draws are admirable but must be augmented by a decent number of home wins..the calls for a back four seem reasonable, notwithstanding the League Cup performance where two genuine wing-backs were employed, but whichever selection options are available following the international break let's hope we see 2 productive home games that offer some optimism for the rest of the season.

Parky is all talk. Pre match was all about trying to win, players in the cup in contention and looking to switch the formation that we've seen is useless both in creation but also resilience.
If we'd have played 4-4-2 or with Derick would we have gone to KC and won probably not but Parky now has to face facts. His favourites are level one quality and his Neanderthal tactics are not going to cut it.
Two choices Parky. Use the international period and work and work on a new system or walk away and let someone with experience have a go.
