I'm not sure which match Parky was watching on Tuesday when he claimed that we tired over the last twenty minutes because once Henry and Long came on for Pratley and Derik the football improved markedly. We immediately took the game to Bury, played the ball on the ground and Henry, Morais and Vela completely overran the Bury defence. It just convinces me even more that he sees nothing but lump it, which is quite alarming. That says to me that he will again play the team that started against Vale, despite the monotony of doing that. People keep pointing out that we desperately need Madine because we don't win without him but surely that's because Parkinson plays the same humpball system without the players to effect it. That's either really stupid or really being unaware of the problem. For myself I think he is just so wedded to his lump it style that he genuinely can't see past it. That's worrying because his whole career has been based on that. If he does play the same unadventurous way at Vale with only ALF starting up front, I won't be surprised but it will prove to me that we have to make a change at the end of the season whatever happens. Defeat at Vale of course could be terminal for us.
