C,mon Dean give us all something to cheer us up,,even if its the pies will be the same price next season ! My sentiments exactly, on the Brentford thread. Club have gone deathly silent. At one point, you couldn't pick up a BN or look online without seeing Deano draped in a Wanderers scarf or stood next to ED or that gangsta and now we're hearing nowt at all!! I'd rather we didn't pay the staff or HMRC again, at least we heard summat if it were nothing!!

Personally I'd rather Deano spends his time putting the club straight than spouting rubbish because people think he has to.

Well I'm impressed so far and am not sure what more to expect.Progress would appear to include
1.Paying the tax bill, securing the club's immediate future and quietly setting about righting the finances
2. Building on past- linking with former players and strengthening goodwill
3. Ensuring that a proper and systematic review of playing staff takes place, blooding youngsters under the Academy manager and presumably positioning negotiations with high earners -bound to be difficult
4 Prioritising football , linkage with University and looking to commit less to free school
5. Trying to reinvigorate physiotherapist and player fitness staff and reviewing it
7 Smartening and adding to wall posters and arrangement of concourse space-family stand better already
8. Not kicking an adversarial Supporters Trust into touch with every reason to and not responding to confidential. Issues re its finances and those of its investors- probably having more money than critics argue?
9. Not trying to make false promises and spin for the BN and other fora
10.Biting the bullet and changing manager
11. Taking time to think about 2016/17 and not rushing to declare season ticket policy
12. Trying to get stadium used for boxing and other events
It was way too late for Sportshield to influence our relegation fight (not sure that's the right word). And it will be very difficult to make a competitive team for division one. There will be tough decisions and times ahead and things may have to get worse before better and it will be difficult to achieve short term returns for investors but I think from what little I can perceive or have read about or heard that Deano and Co are really trying to right the ship. We and the Supporters Trust and the media may do well to circle the wagons/rally round and give them every chance!

Did anyone gain anything from tonight's BBC Radio Manchester forum re The Whites?? Only heard s few minutes of it but I believe there's a press conference tomorrow morning. That Steve Battersby chap seem to talk a lot of sense and SupaJohn came across well, like I say though, I only got the last few mins, might try to have a catch up on the podcast

I'm thinking there's a possibility that the top 3 candidates could turn out to be Kevin Nolan John Sheridan Phil Brown
Could be wrong mind!!!

I think the jobs Brownies to lose whoever's on the list as long as the compensation isn't too high and that would do me fine. I would though like him to have JP as his No2 as I think he deserves an opportunity to develop his managerial experience and knows the young players who will surely form the basis of our team next year. I'd love to have Nolan back in some role but not really as manager, it's too early for him yet.

Taking the subject title more literally than what it was meant to be, I wonder what plans anyone has for match days next season. Crowds of below 10,000 mean that this stadium, which at the best of times can be a little drab, will be completely atmosphere free. If we start to play well, score plenty and win games I'm convinced fans will come back-whatever level it's better to be entertained.
I'd suggest all top tier to be closed and west stand too. Maybe keep a section of East lower open as an alternative to family friendly North stand.
Cut back stewards, staff and try and keep folk together so it's not so isolated. Any views?

Hey! Close the East Stand lower not the West Lower.
The thought of closing portions of the ground to save on stewarding/turnstile costs crossed my mind yesterday.
I was pretty upset when on the move from Burnden to the Reebok that my seat next to the Directors box had been shunted a block further away and one of my families three seats turned out to be "limited view" which I only found out when applying for an FA Cup ticket. (I moved to the lower tier when my sons went off to Uni).
I imagine that many existing season ticket holders my be similarly upset if told they need to move and are invited to choose a new seat or (worse) allocated one. I imagine that there might be more choice of available seats this time around.
If Deano & co decide it's a no brainer, it should test their diplomatic skills.

I have been saying for a few weeks now that the North Upper would probably close, which upsets me as that is where my seat is, and as I don't really like sitting down the sides unless up high ie. upper tier, I wouldn't have much choice in relocating other than the North Lower. Of course there are people already in a lot of the seats in North Lower which reduces my choice of available seats, and the east and west upper tiers are currently dearer so its a quandary.
I also think the match day buses may be stopped which will also play a part in the numbers attending the games.
Anybody know when they are announcing season ticket prices?

I like you am in North Upper and share this concern. I think though they will try to keep the Family Stand there?
