You are having a fxcking laugh 2-0 down at home in front of 22,000 against Exeter what is he doing with this team, 17 shots with only 2 on target for the love of our team do one Ian š¤·āāļøCOYWM Doing the same as the second half of last season is what chip. Dreadful stuff again with no threat whatsoever. I think riochs right about how quickly Evatt can ruin good players with his awful system. Iāve backed him up to now and thought he shock of Wembley just might force him to rethink but this is even worse. We were gifted a win at Orient but you canāt get anywhere on luck and Iām afraid it looks like Evattās run out of ideas so now should be the time for Sharon to act and not delay what seems the inevitable?

I am usually uncritical of Evatt and hope he will field the right formations, but today, having stumbled on the right midfield and wing backs on Wednesday he reverted to the original and deservedly paid the price. By the time he brought on Matete and Tu-Tu it was virtually too late. Now he must be more than ready to face the wrath of those who went for his head after Wembley. There was not even a semblance of the teamwork we have come to expect during his tenure. Really Poor.

didn't see that one coming. no real reason for it. no injury crisis or raft of new players to integrate . players downed tools ??
can't see Sharon pulling the trigger. she had ample reason to do it last year, after saying she was hoping for automatics, then flop like we did. i felt for ages she acts like she'd rather ruin the club than give up on her man. personal loans ( to cover certain controversial debts perhaps..allegedly!? ) , shares, surprised he didn't get voting shares. imagine that board meeting. all those in favour of giving the tin tack raise your hands now.... Evatt sat there..lol.
elsewhere, Wrexham with a nice 2-0 win at Posh. clean sheet. Posh didn't even get one shot on target. 70% possession for Posh ! a lot of sides facing tougher away games. should have been ideal opportunity to catch up a bit. Charlton lose away at Reading. Hudd away at Rotherham. also lost.
Rotherham back in the chase now. a lot of signings to integrate there. Malik Wilks and JCH getting off the mark. Alfie May scored AGAIN for Brum. 4 in 4. scored in each game !! . Stockport dropped points away at Mansfield but remain unbeaten.
strange league this year. quite a lot of good sides with 2 promoted ones really in the mix. seems a bit less dross than normal . Orient rock bottom being the only side we've scored against and beat. I did see the bookies odds for the title. it split the teams nicely top 9 . middle 6, then another 9 of the dross sides. it's normally Evatts thing to flat track bully the dross sides, with the odd slip up even to them. can't remember the exact dividing lines but will post on at some point.
from memory.. top 9 was something like this.
brum, hudd , bwfc wrexham, stockport, posh barnsley, reading? charlton
middle 6 blackpool wigan ( surprised me that one..they were def middle ) lincoln ? wycombe ? ? ?
can't remember bottom 9. definitely shrews. presume cambridge too. burton, crawley. etc

I can understand Sharon giving IE one more chance this year since he was so close last time and with that chance sheās also chosen to back him fully with transfer money we havenāt seen for years. I doubt that sheāll pull the trigger yet but if results donāt improve quickly I donāt think sheāll have any option. Obviously we donāt know whatās happening behind the scenes but there seems to me to be a creeping dissatisfaction amongst the players who just appear to be totally lacking confidence in what theyāre being asked to do. After Wembley I think most accepted that there needed to be a change in system but here we are a month into the new season and nothing has changed. In fact weāve gone backwards if anything and Iād say the squad we finished with last year was better than the one we have now. Other than possibly Desmond Iām not convinced by any of the others. What have the likes of McAtee, Schon, Forino and Arfield delivered so far? Matete and Lolos may come good but even they havenāt so far proved any real value. Others have spent a fraction of what we have and are flying. Sharonās backers have done so on the basis that weāre going to secure at least success through the play offs although automatics must have been the target. Weāre already miles behind that so does Sharon stick with Evatt and hope things improve or does she just bite the bullet and accept her mistake? If weāre to go up change needs to happen fast and with difficult games coming up after the international break it will be tough for Evatt to turn it round and with a massive gate against Huddersfield the pressure will be well and truly on. In my opinion that will be the decider, lose that or even not win it and I think Sharon will be left with no choice.

W63 We play a system that none of the players are suitable for as well as understand it or are comfortable with. We have ONE āstrikerā in Dion who WILL miss 4 score and 20 more than he will bag. Creative players like Matete McAtee, Dempsey, Collins, even Sheehan who currently hold no value whatsoever 3 centre backs who couldnāt defend for toffee, Dacres Cogley is full on crap and will never ever be anywhere near a decent right back or whatever heās meant to be. New signing Forino!!! Would have fared better with Lou Ferrigno. Heās L2 at best and thatās being kind to him I said earlier in the thread āstruggling for goalsā and I predicted a 0-0, which, on the face of it could have been seen as a brilliant point, given that we were throunced and ended up with nowt Sharon Markham and Evatt have sent us so far back within 4 games, I cannot see a recovery and I can even see Barrow dumping us too (not that a care one joy about that game) Evatt has to know that his time is up and so should Sharon Iāve had enough

That was a desperately depressing game. IE is in a muddle. Are we playing keep ball or are we punting long balls for hopeful runners. Today we did both badly
Much as ever comes back to Santos. So ponderous, such predictability. Opponents have all cottoned on.
Dacres-Cogley is now a cul de sac.He will run across field but never at his man.
Passing, shooting and creation were all non existent. Dreadful set pieces at both ends.
The referee was irritating. The time wasting tedious. We were outplayed from start to finish
Baxter 5 Dacres Cogley 1 Forini 5 Santos 2 Schon 5 Thomason 4 Dempsey 4 Sheehan 3 McAtee 4 Charles 4 Johnston ossei-Tutu 7 Matete 4 Adeboyejo 3 Collins ,3

updated title odds. as per my post above. I couldn't quite remember whether Exeter were classed as middle tier or bottom. looks like it was bottom. some of these definitely changed. Wigan who were middle 6, now bottom 9 . top 9 : Brum 1/1. hudd , wrexham (now 8/1 !) bwfc 11/1 , stockport, charlton barnsley, roth , p.boro 33/1 middle 6 : reading , lincoln, blackpool wycombe, mansfield, bristol. < mansfield yet another promoted side not being in that bottom bunch bottom 9 : wigan 100/1, exeter 150/1 , stevenage orient , northampton, burton crawley, camb, shrews 1000/1 !! shows you how bad Exeter are rated. fair play to them to today, but a shambles from our lot. hasn't took long for this to change has it. only 31st August today. on 2nd of Aug Opta supercomputer had us top and Wrexham in the bottom 6. such a terrible start Wrexham now on shorter odds than us !! theanalyst.com/eu/2024/08/league-one-2024-25-opta-predictionsgot to say although some merit in it, this Opta computer massively over-rates teams based on possession. I think the bookies (pre-season) had Wrexham way shorter than where they placed them. we're still odds on to finish in the top 6 , surprisingly . but interesting looking at the "odds to finish in the top 2", 3 teams ahead of us. Brum, Hudd and Wrexham . we're 9/2 for that. . the opta model gave Wrexham no chance of finishing in the top 3.

No offence Whites but you've done this before and flip flopped on it. You had Evatt sacked in May but by June, or later on in May, he was still the man. Guys a charlatan of a manager. Been given more money, time and excuses than anyone else. I said this will only end one way. Toxic. Do the right thing Ian. And Sharon too. You've been duped well and truly. It's an easy gig being the one who saved us. But we can't just live off that. Especially when your telling us you want premier league in the 5th year(that's this one by the way)

If we do change Evatt, whoās out of work?
Big Sam /Nolan David Moyes/Nolan Frank Lampard Ryan Lowe Gareth Ainsworth Neil Critchley Alex Neil Graham Potter - unlikely Michael Beale
Whoās in work but worth a look
Skubala at Lincoln Challinor at Stockport Bonner at Gillingham Cook at Chesterfield Caldwell at Exeter Even the Barrow boss again Clemence
Or do we go foreign?
Weāre a big draw and thereāll be no shortage of interest but Evattās done for now point of no return

Everyone says wait until the day after before making comments on the game but Iām not sure how I feel disappointed yes angry yes let down yes. Is this down to Ian and his coaching team or are the players just not good enough as to what the honest answer is I donāt know. Are we in a false position as Ian keeps saying letās wait until all the players are up to speed but how long do we wait and Iām sick to death of people saying if you donāt like it go and support another team but as we all know once in never out COYWM

We've knocked on the door last few seasons. We now need to knock the door down.
4 games. 3 shutouts. 2 at home. We put 7 past these and I don't think they've massively strengthened.
If I thought these were one offs I wouldn't mind. We did lose to Carlisle after all at home. But sense this is just the start. Beginning of the end.
He's talked about nonsense about us being under prepared. Actually saying a huge portion of injuries. Erm. Who?
He was a figure of fun in the Derby and Posh press last season with his constant moaning about injuries and it seems this season he's started off in the same vain.

Please tell me the wanderers board are not backing him with more āfreeā transfers???
Evattās now telling the BN that weāre looking for a free transfer!!!!!
Why?
He might not have played a pre season. He might not be up to speed He might just be tired like all the others
What we should be doing is holding an urgent enquiry and setting Evatt a 1 more game and your done, or just sacking him
Iāve never seen so many negative comments on all media sources (Wanderers related) with such scathing anger for our āleaderā I think heās a dead man walking or he ought to be
