How to pick a team with all that talent around, and much forecasting of who we would like to be shut of. I feel sorry for Morley and Iredale, who are getting the butt of exit-forecasts, but very happy to welcome today's signing from Luton McAtee.
I have been told that our 5-30 kick off at Brisbane Road can be viewed on Sky in line with Sky's promise to make all EFL games available. Anyone on here able to advise on ow to bring it on, presumably by the red button ?

If you have Sky Sports Ken you just need to tune into the new Sky+ Chanel and all the games are listed there so you just choose the one you want, obviously Wanderers. My only question is will there be commentary or will it be like the pre season games on Wanderers TV with just pictures? Hopefully commentary even if it’s just one camera as iFollow was. Looking forward to the game now and expecting a comfortable win so I’m sticking my neck out and going 3-0 to the mighty Whites.

Good evening everyone and welcome to another season of praying and fingers crossed for promotion. I know it’s not the time or place but still fuming about Wembley let’s hope we can put it behind us. I’m not going to do any predictions or comments just hope Ian changes for our football team COYWM

At last, the start of the new season and, hopefully, a chance to put the agony of Wembley behind us.
The only way to wipe out that pain is to start well and dominate this league.
Close season transfers have been interesting.
I am unsure about most of the incoming players because I honestly know little about them but I have faith in our transfer policy.
I tend to think that the 11 who started against Port Vale last Saturday will be todays starting line-up and the newcomers (other than Schon) will be on the bench. They likely will start against Mansfield on Tuesday.
And a couple of wishes for this season (in addition to wishing for promotion):-
- Always have keeper on the subs bench,
- Abandon this rigid subbing the 2 strikers on 65 minutes – it’s ridiculous. Sub them when needed, not as per your pre-determined ideas.
As usual, I am Mr Optimist so I am hopeful of a good performance today.
It is not a good ground for us but today is the time to get a rare win there.
Leyton Orient are a decent side so it will be a hard start but I will go for a 1-0 win.

Can’t deny that I’ve kept one eye on the promoted sides (Pompey Derby Oxford) and so far, contrasting fortunes.
Derby got a battering in their opener at Blackburn, both sides looked crap from what I saw. Leeds doing all the fancy dan passing, moving, intricate, sometimes difficult football, Portsmouth just doing what needs to be done, defending resolutely and going at em when they get chance and they’re 2-1 up away to a packed Elland Road crowd. Well done Pompey so far
Oxford at home, holding a 1-0 lead over a very poor looking Norwich
All to change in the next 45, but always interesting to see how the promoted sides fare
Let’s hope we don’t mirror Leeds (failing at Wembley) COYWM Let’s do this⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

My mood has swung again and after some signings am much more confident and excited.
Of course that could all change after today but we shall see.
Think it will take a little time to get the players in and up to speed, which is why I'm a little disappointed we didn't sign them a few weeks ago.

I’m actually struggling to see how we are drawing as LO have shown more than we have
Sheehan invisible and when he is visible he’s not doing very much Arfield has had a couple of neat touches but other than that, nowt
Iredale helping his cause to find the exit door. Thomasson not much better
McAtee (can’t believe I’m calling for Adeboyojo) Adeboyejo needs a chance to show us something (for once) as Charles and Collins still haven’t got it together as if have hoped they would
Big 2nd half coming up
Come on you Whites

Been wasteful in good positions. For me it's not a million miles from what we were seeing at the end of last season.
Was really hoping the early goal would settle everyone and give us the boost to make that statement.
Imagine we'd prefer to give the newbies a start at Mansfield rather than bring them on today but would be happy to see changes.

Looks like you’re predictions are spot on davidm… No keeper and subs on 63 minutes😳😳🙄🙄 And now TuTu for Iredale 69 minutes and Matete for Sheehan Baxter keeping us in this game
