Real tough one this is I like Paul Warne, he’s a decent talker of the game and he knows promotion too so we’d better be on our game for this, on what could possibly be a 20,000 gate
I’m sure W63 can shed more light on our opponents but one things for sure, they had 26 shots at Lincoln last night, only mustering 1 goal though but I do think they’ll be up there come end of season and they’ll certainly be up for this one
Just hope we cut out the first goal deficit which always angers me. Sort these defensive hiccups and we’ll be a top 3 side
Only ever went to Millmoor twice and I think we got beat both times, I’ve never been to the New York Stadium though, built on the site of a former foundry that made fire hydrants which are dotted all over New York (hence the name🤔) prove me wrong W63😬😬
COYWM Let’s do it With Sunderland away to a tricky Fleetwood and Pathetic at Accrington, a win could send us top ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

You’re absolutely right about the new stadiums name Rftr, and it’s on the old Guest and Crimes site, which Tesco also wanted but the Council at that time also eyed up the site for their new council offices. Both subsequently found alternative sites and the stadium built there instead. Rotherham are a really good attacking side as you say and I’ve always rated Smith up front, though he is prone to missing more than he scores. Let’s hope he does on Saturday but certainly Rico and Johnson will have their hands full. They also have Ladapo up top who holds it up well and supplies Smith with many of their chances. It does seem that Smith (Smudge) will be leaving, possibly in a January if they want a fee, as he’s subject to speculation and in the last year of his contract. Their weakness seems to be defence, particularly central defence, where they seem to be lacking. They also have a young winger, Ogbene, playing as wing back who seems to be really good attacking but highly susceptible in defence, so if Dapo can get at him it will not only create chances for us but possibly prevent him getting forward. Like you I think Rotherham will improve as the season progresses but let’s hope it’s not before Saturday? I still fancy us to win this in what could be a very open and high scoring game so I’ll go 3-2 to Wanderers if the defence can keep a hold on their forwards. It certainly looks like being the biggest crowd so far and there will be a good few coming over from this side, so we should be pushing the 20k mark. COYWM.

See I knew you’d know a lot about The Millers
STATO W63😂😂
I have to say and I’m absolutely shocked at this
Blackburn Rovers 2 Hull City 0
And here’s the icing In front of just 9000 fans🙄🙄
They must have the largest fair weather supporters in world football as id have imagined Hull bringing a good 2000 over t’pennines
Anyway, back to us, I hope the weather stays good and there is a 20,000 plus gate, BWFC needs to sell this club to the next generation of fans and this community day is a great idea, hope it gets folk bitten by the bug
COYWM let’s do this ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Ha, hardly a stato rftr, just living amongst them you’re going to pick up how they feel. I forgot to mention Will Griggs who may play on Saturday. He seems to have been used mainly off the bench but many are keen for him to start. In fairness, when you look at their attack, it’s much more potent than ours so we do need to be on the ball at the back. I certainly can’t see this being a low scoring game looking at the two squads, it should be a highly entertaining game. We just need to ensure that we make our chances count. Personally, I’d start Lee rather than Sheehan because we look much stronger defensively with him there. My Wednesday mates are surprised when I tell them he doesn’t score because they all saw him as a box to boxer who regularly scored so maybe I’m underestimating him. Sheehan obviously adds more going forward but at what price defensively? Either way I’m really looking forward to the game in front of hopefully a 20k crowd, some of whom will enjoy the experience and come regularly, especially the kids. FV are certainly more switched on than past owners at how to encourage people back so well done to them and let’s hope people do support them in their efforts. These are just the games to do it and a good win and performance will do much to help it.

Should be a good match with a great atmosphere.
I expect the same team as the Ipswich match but, not necessarily, the same dominance.
Rotherham had an amazing 26 shots with 8 on target in their 1-1 draw with Lincoln mid-week so they have some attacking prowess.
Will we see an open game like the Ipswich match or a tight one like Burton?
Could be a tight match but I’ll go for a 2-1 win.

Unfortunately this is a game I can't get to due to other commitments but the wife has informed me that I should be able to get home for the kick off. 🤞 my mate isn't using his stream after last night's announcement about his team going into administration he might not bother hahaha. I'm going for a 2-2 stay safe one and all onwards and upwards COYWM

Shame you’ve got to miss this one Chip, it should be a cracker. These are exactly the games we need to be winning as teams like Rotherham will be up there at the end of the season, so any points dropped today could cost us. It will certainly be a tough one as The Millers are well up for it and confident they’ll go away with the points. I must say their strike force with Smith, Ladapo and Griggs looks one of the best in L1 and our defence will have to be on their A game to compete with them but equally they have been suspect at the back so hopefully Dapo and Izzy can get at them and both score and create chances for others. Set pieces might be a concern for us with their size up front so giving away corners and free kicks need to be avoided. It should be cracking atmosphere with 20k crowd so let’s hope it affects Rotherham more than our own players, though strangely it can sometimes enthuse the away team who aren’t used to it. Let’s hope not and we can get the 3 points. I still think we will in a high scoring game so I’ll go for 3-2 to Wanderers. 😉

Not good 2-0 down inside 20 minutes and in my opinion very sloppy goals to concede maybe it's us that's frozen in a big crowd

It's good to see that we are still trying to play our football and we are creating chances but I feel as though Doyle could do with a hand up top sometimes, still plenty of time to go.

Perhaps Baptiste could have prevented that headed goal from a corner had he been on??
COYWM Only takes a second to score a goal⚽️⚽️⚽️
Do t want Ian bemoaning our luck “Doyler hits the post, George scores but it’s ruled out” “If they go in its 2-2 and fame on”
We can do this COYWM ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Summat just tells me that if we see out the remaining 25 mins and play an hour injury time, we’ll still not score from a striker
Maybe the big crowd has gotten into their heads
Ney mind
We'll learn from this I hope
