All the stops rolled out. Bring 4 friends for a tenner day. But you'd argue would you put your friends through that.
Not sure about this particular promotion. You pay £400(?) On a season ticket, have to get to the UniBol on Tuesday and Wednesday nights after work and get home, tired, wet cold and miserable and then we say bring your mates for cheap. I'd personally feel a little bitter about that. If I did I couldn't find 4 willing participants. I would have thought that at a tenner I could have got 4 neutrals to go after all I think it's about that much to watch Chorley or Bamber Bridge. But for entertainment i think Chorley would be much better value.
If you did bring 4 friends, had a few drinks pre match, watched a great game then it may lead to you getting the fixture lists out and finding out when to do it again. Especially those festive fixtures.
Ultimately if it's dross even at £10 people will not be happy and that will lead them to the "never again" camp.
Only played a day early but that last game at villa seems a real long time ago. Like international break. Maybe it's because I've read The BN all week and the stories have all been the same regurgitated nonsense that I've wondered if it will ever end.
"Parky is the man. We will come good. We're doing everything right. We have faith. Let's stick together"
Talks cheap and now it's time to walk the walk...that said Bolton 1 Swansea 3.
They've spent a lot of money. Premiership quality players. Refs had a stinker there. Played excellent in parts. Well on tip for the opening minute and half. Created enough chances to win(2 off target, 1 on) We will dust ourselves off and go again.

Just to add to my negativity
Sheff Utd 5 Preston 11 Stoke 10 Nottm Forest 12 Hull 7 Villa 4
These are the timings of the early opening gifts we give to opposition teams and that’s a recurring theme under this managers useless planning and poor tactics!!

I don't care what score it ends up, just as long as we don't win ! And before all you "Happy Clappies" start ranting & raving about how people like me are not proper fans.....I want this management team removed asap, and if losing matches is helpful then bring it on. Hopefully, BWFC 0 Swansea 6.

Can't agree with that Woppy I'm afraid, much as like you I want Parky gone, but I just don't see that happening as long as Kens here. If that's all season, which I believe it will be, then I don't want us to be relegated again or I fear a long delay until we get back up again. As long as we're in the Championship a takeovers more likely so I do want the points total to keep ticking over. My protest is still to stay away and put no money into the club and leave an empty seat because I think it's only money, or lack of it and declining gates that will influence Ken enough to act. I don't think other than that he much cares where we finish as he's no real feelings for the club long term. If we do lose, which sadly I do expect, it may hasten Parky's departure as you say which would be great but I do doubt it, especially after Kens backing again recently and the cost of paying him off!!

Respect your view whites but Im sticking to mine. Like I say, if losing matches brings an end to this lunatic of a manager, bring it on. If we continue to freefall, Anderson will have no other choice but to remove Parkinson, the cost dosnt have to be an issue. Gardening leave.!! Then give Lee/Kelly a chance, cant do worse. ITS THE COST OF NOT PAYING HIM OFF THAT WORRIES ME.

Hi 63 I will be there tomorrow hopefully to see us win but to be totally honest I really don't care one way or the other just as long as we at least play some football and not just hoof it up field to one striker. Will Parky ever learn we shall see. COYWM

Yet another crunch game!
We definitely cannot lose or the drop down the league will leave us in a spot where we are liable to remain for the rest of the season.
I, like others, have been highly critical of the manager with his numerous team changes every match but I desperately hope there are some more tomorrow.
- We must get rid of the 2 ineffective wingers,
- We definitely must keep Oztumer in the starting line up.
- We must play 2 strikers up front,
- We need to somehow get Williams playing farther forward so that we don’t have Lowe and Williams duplicating the same role.
I presume that Ameobi will start but we cannot expect too much from him first match back. There is a danger that he is being set up as the saviour. Well, he is a decent player but not every match and it is unfair to lump the hopes onto him so soon.
I expect the same back 7 players from the Villa match and I would add Ameobi, Oztumer, Doidge and Donaldson to them.
BUT
I expect we will see Ameobi for Noone, Magennis as a lone striker and Vela or O’Neill instead of Oztumer and we will have yet another attritional 90+ minutes.
I am one who always desperately hopes for a Wanderers win. Even if we lose, I cannot see Woppy’s hope coming true.
Hard to forecast this game but I am not positive.

I think even if KA looks at these posts(I dont think he does)...until there is some kind of protest at a game nothing is going to change...he will think we are the minority

Yes thegrud 1 we are a minority and I don't think things will change because like I've said before Parky is cheap as chips and he the chairman is waiting till Parky quits but unfortunately for us and more importantly for our football club Parky will not quit because he truly believes he is doing the right thing. I think even if KA looks at these posts(I dont think he does)...until there is some kind of protest at a game nothing is going to change...he will think we are the minority I honestly don't believe that's true. He's a businessman and imagine every Monday morning he will be wanting to know takings. They will inevitably be down on bar, food, parking everything. I think it's a case that any manager who is worth hiring wants a proper wage. Parky will do it on the cheap. But you pay peanuts and you get monkey staff.

For the first time in a long time I am not looking forward to going to the match. I have been hopeful that things will change, and we might get a little entertainment. But all hope is gone. 0-3 and lots of hoofball.

ITS THE COST OF NOT PAYING HIM OFF THAT WORRIES ME. Good points Woppy and certainly the gardening leave solution would be my way out as long as we had someone who we could be confident could take over until his contracts up. We've already got Jules coaching the first team so either Jimmy or David Lee would have to step up and of course they may not want to do that. Then there's the question of Parkin and the rest of Parky's cabal. Would they accept that? Maybe not but if they didn't they could always resign. I suppose it's also what's written in contracts. It would be great if someone came in for him like Bradford or Reading but that's clutching at straws. Anyway, how about this as a compromise for our thoughts? We get absolutely battered today but Swansea, miss chances, hit the post, the bar, squander a penalty and then score an own goal in injury time and we get the 3 points from a thoroughly disgraceful performance? Then again, maybe 0-0 would be better with the same performance? ;-)

Reading the comments above, maybe I should be glad that I’m in the North East and thus unable to watch on i-follow. On second thoughts, putting up with just the appalling commentator on Tower is hardly more palatable. I agree that we should lose the two wrong sided wingers, but, as I’ve argued before, I’d like to see us play a diamond midfield, with Lowe or O’Neill at the base, Williams and Vela to do the running and Oztumer at the point. I’d have Ameobi and Doidge as a more mobile front two. A revolution in our forward style of play would be possible, but keeping a fairly established, though increasingly fragile looking defence. Olkowski can get forward and I’d be tempted to try Dyer rather than Taylor on the left and really go for it.
Sadly, I feel sure it will be flat back four, two holding mids, two pointless non wingers and one up top, 30+ % possession and a 0-1 or 0-2 scoreline. Go, on Parky, prove me wrong and pick a positive team!

On one hand would it be sensible to try and implement changes today. Be know Swansea are one of the better passing team so do we take them on with a few days training and try and do a 180 turn.
However if not now then when because you could make equal arguments for any opponent. Really we should have continued what we started against Hull. But we didn't.
In this case I can see a point for letting them pass, pass and pass BUT what we need to do then is to make sure they all know the lines when the time comes.
People talk about Leicester winning the league with 30 possession. That's because when Kante broke it he would get it to Mahrez with one pass or over to Vardy which ever was one. It was quick, decisive and it worked time and again. Doesn't work with an aimless punt up to an immobile striker. Just comes straight back.
